Fleur let slip that Mikes parents live up north so it could be he has taken on a bigger role and is still commuting.
Mike's parents has other businesses registered to the adress of the place where Fleur and Mike just moved in. I find it more probable that he's taken over more responsibility in something other than Available Car (their biggest business). According to someone who knows the area over on GG, they've moved further away from most of the Available Car locations..
