I haven't been reading this thread, but I'm looking for a place to sell a few designer items (an LV wallet mainly). Do any of you have experience with *selling* via a site like Fashionphile and the like, and would you recommend any of them over the others? I want to go through an intermediary because I don't want to have to deal with any authentication issues myself. I'd rather take a hit on the price than have potential headaches.

I have sold to Fashionphile and Yoogi’s Closet. Both were fine - when you submit pictures to one, be sure to submit to the other and see who offers you more. I also used their offers to set my price on Poshmark (factoring in Poshmark’s 20% cut) because then the buyer still gets it for cheaper than they would on Fashionphile or YC.
If your item isn’t likely to sell quickly, just sell to a site and get it over with. If you have time, try Poshmark. Anything over $500 gets authenticated for free.

The main issue for me is that shipping and taxes makes whatever saving I might make, worthless.

1. my "Walking pharmacy" or my pochette accessories which is really old and the strap is missing. It holds a ton of stuff. I even carry a little measuring tape. Don't ask me why.
2. my pencil case with pens

I have an old Marc Jacobs Miss Marc pouch that is padded that I keep my phone in, lipstick, and cinnamon mints/gum. I don’t tend to carry a lot in my purse.. -

- powdered, brush-on sunscreen (it's amazing)
- reusable shopping bag that folds up into a little pouch

Wait. Minkoff is a Scientology princess?! Her leathers are incredible for the price. The interiors...meh. The prints always turn me off. I still have a few of her bags but weird. If I liked a bag enough, a designer's strange religion wouldn't exactly stop me from buying it but it would cross my mind. .
