OMG no one gets that dressy on cruises anymore, unless maybe it’s the Queen Mary or something. We’ve done dozens of cruises in the past 20 years and most lines don’t even do formal night anymore, when they do it’s usually optional and most people dress only slightly fancier than smart casual. She’s going to stand out and look ridiculous.

So I guess "the best husband in the world" didn't actually mean it when he said to buy any dress that makes you feel pretty. He MEANT to say is buy any dress that makes you feel pretty AND that I approve of. How embarrassing for Marnie. Maybe she should delete the stories singing Michael's praises, because in actuality he is an ass.
Also, I am cracking up that she feels the need to buy a dress for a local cruise "formal night". I have been on about a dozen cruises and never pack anything dressier than a cocktail dress or a dressy jumpsuit. I kind of laugh when I see people show up to dinner in tuxedos and gowns. It really seems out of place. Formal dress is not required, so most people just show up wearing their normal dinner clothes. There are also usually a few groups of people that show up in jeans and shorts. It is usually either an older couple or a very pretentious couple that actually show up in a tuxedo and gown, so I guess that makes sense that Marnie and Michael are dressing up.
I doubt Marnie will ever go back to a true XS or size 2. Due to her age, it is already naturally harder for her to lose weight. Added to the fact she eats like crap, lives a completely sedentary life and has tried and miserably failed at FWTFL at least three times, the extra weight is not going to magically melt away like her last drug induced weight drop. Just donate all of your size 2 clothing and embrace that you are now a size 8.

The most shocking part of yesterday was her admission that she’s not a size 2 but more like a 4 or 6 (IMO 6 is much more likely).
And for her age, being a 6 is perfectly acceptable. Just get off your couch and move every now and again Manky.
