| Undertones annoy me too. All the undertone “tests” annoy me. My veins look purple, blue and green to me  I look good in silver and gold jewelry. Don’t even get me started on figuring out whether I’m a winter, summer, etc. FWIW, I’ve had some makeup artists (the counter variety not Lisa E levels lol) tell me I’m neutral. So I tend to opt for light-medium neutral foundation shades. I did try a Lisa E foundation sample in an olive undertone and it looked really good so I wonder if I’m olive. Gah! |

Unrelated question. I don’t get a tan other than maybe once a year on a beach type vacation. So I don’t feel fully confident with how different makeup looks when I’m not my usual colour. Specifically, I always get a bit of red with the tan on my chest and shoulders but my face tans with zero redness. So even when I match a darker foundation to my face, it looks off to me because there’s an undertone discrepancy compared to my chest/arm area.
So should I buy a darker foundation with red undertones? Would that fix it? Or should I keep the foundation as is to match my face and then use a bronzer with a red undertone to bring it all together? Don’t really want to buy/experiment with a ton of products here because it really is a once a year issue lol. |

| | I have the Chanel ones - the Maybelline vinyl ink is most similar to this except it’s all in one product (i.e. no separate colour vs gloss) and it lasts longer than the Chanel on me. |

The Maybelline SUPER STAY VINYL INK lip colours are really good. I have two of them and really like them. Lots of colours too. They gonna glossy and stay glossy for quite a while but are mostly transfer free. And when they do wear off, they do so very nicely. Even after a full 8 hour work day with eating/drinking - I had some colour on my lips (gloss wears off though). |

| Has anyone tried both the Huda Cherry Blossom setting powder and the Givenchy prisme Libre setting powder in voile rose?
I’m torn on which one to try!
Cookie - I saw that foundation hyped up quite a bit on tiktok. But Stephanie (smlxo) tried it and said it was not that great. She tried it on camera and it didn’t look good on her. I tend to trust her reviews. Having said that, I think foundation is one of those things where YMMV. |

| Has anyone tried the Ruggable rugs in the new tufted standard configuration? I have an OG rug in the basement and I love that I can wash it (I have a dog) but don’t like the lack of tuft/texture. Need a new rug in my living room (doggy trashed the existing rug 😅) and I am curious whether the tufted ruggables are noticeably nicer than the originals?
Otherwise, I’m just going to get another wool rug and hope for the best 😂 |

This. This is what bothers me the most about her Disney “travels” (along with the repetitiveness of it all). Never does she appear more unhinged and detached from reality than when she’s on these trips. Like, give your head a shake and let reality come into focus. |

Cherie - my AB brow freeze has also turned liquid. It was good while it lasted. I am enjoying the Rare Beauty brow gel though!
IDES - I’m in between skincare right now. I’m finishing up a bunch of Elizabeth Arden stuff. It was all ok but nothing blew me away. Looking forward to finishing what’s left and moving on.
-Innisfree Pore Clearing Clay Mask - love this! My favourite has always been the Omorovicza mask but this has been a great, less expensive alternative.
-Fenty Fat Water
-Skinceuticals CE Ferulic - back to old faithful. There are many “dupes” people swear by but nothing beats this IMO. The glow this gives me is unique. Always come back to it.
-Avene Cicalfate Restorative Protective Cream - this isn’t something I use daily but I love it on an as needed basis. Especially in the winter.
-Sephora Melting Cleansing Balm - I wouldn’t buy this again. Doesn’t do a great job breaking down makeup. The Farmacy one is where it’s at. The Omorovicza thermal balm is incredible but I don’t always feeling like paying $$$$.
-Sephora Clean Skin Gel - this is ok. Basic. Good value.
-Sephora AHA BHA Smoothing Cleanser - this is ok. Basic. Good value. Would probably not buy either again. I like to be wow’ed
About to try:
-L’Occitane Radiance Scrub (face) - I was using an amazing one by Sisley (Botanical Gentle Facial Buffing Cream) but the last quarter of the jar did dry out. I would repurchase though!
-MAC Hyper Real Serumizer
