| I think it’s weird that Julie dogsits Winnie this much for Gene. A little bit? Sure. Every other weekend for days at a time so this asshole can go have a romance with herself? Too much.

I think she might be legit autoromantic-autosexual. Which falls under the asexuality umbrella. I would lean more towards autoromantic.
This would kind of make everything make sense. From what I've read, it doesn't mean that you never engage with other people. Your romantic relationship with yourself can be one of your relationships. When she was with Don, she was in a relationship with him, but also with herself. She could balance that. But once the kids came, they took her Jen time and she still had to be in relationship with Don. The same way one might struggle with balancing multiple relationships in polyamory when time stresses increase.
It would be interesting if she actually explored this in a serious way.

| | I think that Don wanted to sign the kids up for some sort of sport this spring, maybe with the other kiddos. Jen said fine but you do it, I’m not taking them. Add in all of the family events like birthday parties, which she is more than happy to give them to him for, she hardly has them on the weekends anymore. Don will never ask for the money to be adjusted, she is a psycho and it’s well worth the price just to shut her up. And he can afford it. |
