Some of my fondest summer memories are time at camp and when my sons were younger, they also looked forward to camp in the summer (I was working, but even if I wasn’t). Outside playing with other kids and making new friends is much more fun than Jen’s basement. I like the idea of camp if the cost works for a family, since most kids seem to love it. Maybe I am in the minority on this one.
I agree, with the exception that there will be no new friends. This “camp“ is daycare at their school, so they’ll only meet kids they already know. But still more fun than mom’s basement for sure! |
