She really infantilizes Andrew all the time, and now she’s even trying to negate any of the personality we see coming through in his program photos. She’s reduced him to someone who wears a musical hat and smiles. It’s very strange how she’s talking about him, especially with her narrative about his smile and her constant insistence on magical. He smiles all the time, just not around you, Darlene. He doesn’t have to wear a silly hat to do so. |

| So many hilarious comments I can’t comment on all. Between Hannah’s monikers, CQ’s and CAM’s shots, and CAM’s and everyone’s logical questions with regard to freezergate and Darlene’s ever changing stories and revision of history, as well as hilarious Chortle’s, Eyedunno’s and everyone’s commentary, it’s all spot on and too funny for words. I love how everyone spots all the little inconsistencies of Darlene’s tales.
No idea why two screenshots showed up. I guess some glitch really loves that expression of Darlene’s. It is funny. |

Her whole coffee calendar concept is too stupid for words. Basically, she just picks Steve’s coffee for him that day, and he could easily change it if he wants. All the coffee pods are right there. It’s not like there’s a limited supply and they’re being rationed. I don’t get it. |

Anyway, the 49 year old woman who’s stunted in her verbal expressions has the same issue with her writing. Anyone want to read Darlene’s Dear Diary entry? I mean, it was meant for us to read. Spoiler: It’s not that exciting and she’s writing down everything she’s saying in video. Also, it’s hard to distinguish Andrew from Steve. She writes as though Andrew was in the military. Of course, whoever was in military caused her anxiety. Nothing in how “he/him” must have felt to be away at Christmas.

| Glad you’re both through with the surgery, Sophia and Bubbe. Recovery takes time and patience, so don’t do too much too soon. Rest and recuperate.
Hope everyone who celebrated had a great Thanksgiving. (Darlene thinks more of talking about her sofa than wishing her American viewers a Happy Thanksgiving, especially as she’s always bringing it up as a milestone for her Christmas decorating). No idea if she said it today, but I was astounded to see how she packed away her cushions in the bin. Stuffed in with the lid directly closed on the cushion. Maybe it’s just me, but I’d have left some room to breathe, or something like a cloth between the lid and the top of the cushion to protect the cushion. But maybe that’s not really necessary, just an idea, and Darlene doesn’t do anything extra. She doesn’t even turn the cushion labels to the back, lol.

Anyway, Hannah mentioned Darlene’s April fantasies and magical thinking on her weight loss, so I went to look to do a rewatch. I’d forgotten how full of herself she was with her ideas for losing weight while still having her “sum’thin sum’thins” (she actually used that term in that video too). Well, how did that system work out for Darlene. You be the judge.

| Yes, “everything happens for a reason” is another of Darlene’s vacuous phrases. She thinks she’s being deeply philosophical as she insists that she “always” says it.
Also, “the girl” for the sales associate or assistant. How nice! There’s just something belittling about calling someone who’s working in a store “the girl”. Just say the salesperson, or anything else! Whatever happened to saying the “store clerk”? Maybe that’s too dated for DarTikToc. I’d bet Darlene has similar names for everyone who happens to work in a store, or looks after and educates her son.
Ah! Darlene the grammar Queen shows up again with her “whenever I was a child”.
Her voice is getting worse. Or maybe Darlene would prefer “more worse”.

| Speedy recovery wishes to Sophia, Bubbe, and anyone facing health issues or having surgery soon. Also Itworks, who may have to face another surgery again in a few years. I wish you all a smooth transition from anesthesia after as well.
As for Darlene, a good householder YouTuber would have shown a little bit more of her deck snow removal, but nope, Old Darlene has to hop over to her boring Elf planner that no one’s interested in. (I’m calling her Old Darlene because she kept saying Old Winter). Good point on the low railings, Kayla. They should have left more space at the bottom for cleaning. But Darlene acts like she’s just moved to Canada and none of these convenient tweaks for dealing with the Canadian climate occur to her. The vagaries of seasonal weather still surprise her after all. I’m surprised they get their snow tires done.
I had to laugh at Darlene saying she was ready “to shove everything back” in her Christmas Crap bin. No idea why she was so impressed with herself for her organization because everything was shoved in the bin when she packed it last year as well. The way the bin was packed up for storage showed how over Christmas she was at the time. She actually used the runner Sarah gave her to wrap up the framed photo! Of course the runner was all creased. But Darlene doesn’t bother about creases. Just pull a runner out of a bin and lay it on the table. All the other decor crap will smooth it out. This is not the work of a professional homemaking YouTuber.
Yes, CAM, so true. All that juvenile decor is for her alone. Stuffed woodland creatures dressed up as people? And one being identified by Darlene as her father? That’s some way out there Christmas decor. But Steve didn’t even know part of his Christmas decor was a box of remains from his dead relative. He must have been thinking that was just some box from Michael’s Darlene picked up, lol.
Now she’s concerned about the correct way to refer to two mice. Should it be a mice couple or a mouse couple? Darlene should master “whenever” vs “when” before she takes up more complicated grammar, lol.
Ugh, yes! The on camera blubbering is absurd, and nauseating, Also, cringe.

Just select all the photos you want to post from your photo album at the same time, or keep going back to the upload function to add more photos before posting the comment. That’s what I do. Testing under a spoiler with some old favorites. I selected all at the same time.

Why doesn’t Darlene have any taste at all? No sense of aesthetics or style. Sometimes you have to go for style over sentiment. Darlene goes for sentiment every time. Like the PW tablecloth. Not to mention the cutesy stuffed animals and birds that she seems to think are alive.

As for Darlene, is she really going to put out the sacred PW tablecloth wrinkled like that? She won’t even steam it or maybe de-wrinkle it in the dryer? I mean, it has so many memories woven into it that it should get more respect, lol.
For someone who’s doing all this organizing and who has so many notebooks, how can she forget a box of decor? And her reminder labels on the boxes look anything but organized.
