What bothers me the most of the lifeless mop is that Jen is always so amazed that Winnie is near Chito all the time, the guardian angel, the big sister, the perfect pet... 
of course not! The mop just follows Jen around the house, hence being with Chito in every freaking second of the day.
Also yes Chito obviously is a mini Don, I predict a lot of weight muffins thrown at her as she grows old.
