I feel like I remember during one of the paska bread Easters that Suzanne is Ukranian (or partially) so I wonder if some of this is tied to that?

I think the recipe came from a relative of Suzanne
I doubt Jen will make that connection- she’s not very bright

I believe Suzanne’s family is from Italy on one side and Slovakia on the other. The bread recipe was from a friend of her mother’s/grandmother’s from when the family lived in Slovakia. I don’t recall a Ukraine connection. I’m from that part of the world so I tend to remember when specifics are mentioned.

Not to distract from Jen's hot take on the world events, but have we seen that purple pitcher thing that she's leaning on in these stories? It looks like something new she's "commissioned," but I wasn't paying much attention to her at the end of the year.

    pitcher

It s a canyon lands Utah national parks mug ($34)....because she can't let it go....I am surprised it s not Montana since it s her new to her favorite state of all times.

You mean it's not a $200 bespoke pitcher she had to custom order and wait for months to be made? I'm crushed.

    (nice detective work!)

What the fuck is she even talking about with "conflicting stories" and not "knowing what's right and what's wrong?"

Hey, Jen? Russia invading Ukraine and killing people is WRONG. End of.

I think what her pea brain was trying to say is "I don't know whether to say something or not say something because either one could cause backlash so I'm just going to mumble about peace a bit but not too much and pretend that I care." The "right" and "wrong" were her options, not the events. I hope. Because it's all about her, after all.

She liked a post or story by Michelle Dempsey, the divorce coach that she used, who was telling mom's to pick their battles, she knows things at the other house aren't done the same way, they don't follow their routines, etc. asks if that is the hill that they want to die on. Gene liked it. They are both repulsive.

Maybe I’m reading into it but that means the children have become aware of the major discrepancies in lifestyle and most likely prefer living with their father. They must be starting to question (why does the step sibs father come to parties and not Jen), complain (the cheese), and point out the differences (calling out one minute of dancing).

I’m going to guess we’re going to see/or read things alluding more and more to defiance from the kids. I was thinking we would need to wait until CC had turned double digits but it’s looking like it’s going to happen sooner than later.

    I can’t wait.

I don't care what the person in the pictures looks like (FWIW, she looks better in yoga pants than I do), nobody needs to see anybody else with their legs spread like that on the internet unless they actually went looking for porn (I am not a prude, honestly, but ew). Some yoga poses should not be photographed for public consumption, even when done by a really fit yoga instructor. I'd give a pass to a professional instructor doing a video–but Jen should know better than to post video of herself doing yoga because she *knows* someone is going to capture stills. Ugh.

Jen likes attention. They are photos of herself that she posted on her IG under the stories named yoga.

I stand corrected. She is even more full of herself than I thought. I knew there was a still of a crotch shot circulating from a video story thar she posted from Utah during that awkward RV trip, so I thought these were similar. I am also familiar with the original “fiercely private” crotch shot from her grid many years ago, I just didn’t realize she put more in her stories *and* saved them as a highlight. Only Jen. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Not for anything but we thought she looked like shit back then...in hindsight, she looked way better AND thinner too! Yes I am body shaming. No I won't apologize.
I am fat, ugly and old myself. So there is that

Can we please never repost the Jen yoga TMI pictures again? Please pass the brain bleach and thank you.

I suppose I didn't help things with the Amish ad. Sorry! I'll see if I can still edit to stick it behind a spoiler. (I could, yay)

I would like to thank Jen for going to Ohio and inspiring the discussion here that caused this ad to appear for me at the bottom of the page.

Praying for peace today and every day but is she thinking of the veterans or the troops?

Don't forget that girl she was friends with! She has to think about her every day too. :nono2:

And we ask what she does every day–clearly she's spending at least 25% of her waking hours thinking about all of these important issues.

I could just hear her brain working when she wrote that slide. "I'm going to say I'm praying for peace today, they will love that... oh shit, they're going to say something like 'Shouldn't you be praying for peace every day?' so I better add that too."

I think it is so weird to get on Instagram and sing a song with a guitar, if you are not a musician.

That’s because you likely have actual friends and don’t need headpats from strangers on the internet.

If your leftovers are missing tomorrow it was me.

No leftovers! Tomorrow is actually my birthday and we were going to go out tomorrow night, but I told hubby I would just as soon go today, when we aren't rushed at all, and then tomorrow we can get back to healthy eating. We've had celebration after celebration this month and it really is making me feel blah. I don't do well eating like this! LOL So, no leftovers were brought home, and back to healthy eating tomorrow!

I was wondering, since I remember you eat sorta similar to me! I love carbs, they just don't love me back (and Jen would be very wise to learn that lesson too). Hope you enjoyed your fabulous splurgy day and happy birthday!

I think we're getting Italian take-out (we don't usually eat simple carbs so it's a *cough* special treat–no, really, not a Jen type once-a-day special treat). Nope on the exercise. And unlike Jen, I still have my husband of 15+ years, so there's that?
