| Chito's going to progress so much further in just one stay at the family vacation home in Utah than she ever would cooped up in Mama's protective care in Chicago. All thanks to her similarly-aged cousin! Imagine where she would be if little Theo wasn't around for comparison. Hopefully this is the wake-up call Jen needs to realize that the sedentary, forever napping stage of Chito's life is over.  |

| It's so cute how much that child loves food. Look at the way she chomps down on that bit of pancake! Takes after both of her parents there.  It's a good thing too, considering how much Jen and Don love to eat. (No judgement - so do most people!) I really think she'll become Don's little helper in the kitchen. Total daddy's girl, for sure.  |

| | I think Chito just takes after Don in all ways. Not only is she his mini-me, she's also just as easygoing as he seems to be. Don is not what you'd call a go-getter...it's not surprising his daughter is taking her time on those milestones. |

| I agree that something's up with He Who Must Not Be Named. Remember when she got back from the family reunion and immediately started Charlotte on solids? In her latest Mommy Favorites video, she says she did no advance preparation on that. Charlotte turned 6 months, and "within a week I had her on solids."  She had said she wanted to wait until CC could sit up on her own. From what I can tell, that's still a little shaky. If she feels that CC is not as advanced as her cousin, keeping her hidden away isn't going to help that. Let her play and socialize with a baby her own age! |

This reminds me of when she used to declare "TGIF!" in vlogs. Back in those days it seemed that she was so schedule oriented because it helped to lend some purpose to her days. Each day of the week had its own routine. I guess I might do the same thing if I had literally no responsibilities and could do whatever I wanted all day. But I hope I'd have the self awareness to not try to equate my weekends with the rest of the working world's... |
