Oh sweet geezus! Those middle hangers look like she hung up old band uniform tops. The middle rack should be higher to vmcreate interest or at least even with the other two!

They look like the Torah Scrolls that freaked me out as a kid when I would go to synagogue for the funeral of some ancient relative.

Move over Simone Biles- Jenbo's in town.

I laughed and laughed at this.
Wishing you a healthy and prosperous new year!

Still watching and catching up here, but you know what’s funny that she doesn’t have in her “office”…her college diploma.

I wonder if she subconsciously does realize that her career isn’t really a career.

    Foie gras.
The woman who couldn’t stand to look at a carton of milk eats foie gras.

She had to come home and get the vegan cheese for the breakfast sandwich. Rodeos and antler arches are ok.

Not to give her more credit than she deserves but she announces that elk shed their antlers naturally. On the chance that this was another “leather comes from cows that died of old age” situation, I googled it, and it’s true.

Poor Jen who has no friends has no time to reply to all the kind messages from her paying friends, but don’t worry she has read them all.

that’s madness. under a hundred bucks a day (assuming an 8 hour work day/shift) before taxes. how is anyone supposed to survive on that??

It is pretty bad. But bear in mind they also get a lot of stuff for free. Her phone is free, they get food stamps (or whatever it's called) and they get extra since they have a baby. I'm sure their rent is supplemented as well. I doubt they pay for anything or have anything like health insurance, dental insurance or any other type of insurance. They work they system for most things. I'm sure she isn't legally married to Darryl. Single moms get more $$$$ than married moms.

I wonder if part of her treatment and/or parole requires her to hold a regular job (not stripping). She keeps talking about wanting go back to stripping. Would men really pay to see her body naked? I mean ... it's pretty wrecked.

I watch another YouTuber (NinaUnrated - do not recommend) who did a stripper diaries series. It was pretty eye-opening. She’s got a great body, but she is 40something. Basically you have to pay the house and DJ just to work there, so some days you actually lose money. But on a good day, it could be several hundred. It seems like those thousand dollar days only go to girls in their prime, at a nice club, with a good amount of regulars.

Nikki is better off with her low paying but steady job, but I think stripping is kind of like gambling. It’s easy to think it’s worth it for those few big money days.

It makes me strangely sad that she feels the need to lie about how much money she’s making.

So it looks like only her name is on the lease? Yet she lets Bones keep the place. What a pathetic, codependent loser.

I was SURE that would be the case. She’s rolled over like a pathetic doormat with Ryan before. Wasn’t it when AJ was a year or two old and Brittany finally called the cops on Rhine (something like hitting and spitting on them) and then MaeMae was arrested for attempted murder. They were headed to court and Kisha was in prime position to win sole custody and obligate child support. She was gonna take everyone’s advice and be strong and do what’s right for her family, y’all.

And then she just completely dropped all of it, like the chicken sht she is when it comes to him, and he was back to freeloading (and likely worse).

Don’t forget the exchange rate. 19 USD is 29 AUD.

but does that factor into it? it’s not me in australia making $USD19, it’s her. what her nominal hourly rate translates into isn’t really a factor? she’s earning $19/hour. maybe the cost of living is less in the US but i don’t think so.

It does. The second factor, along with exchange rate, is what “basket of goods” can your money buy? Real estate and food are tough quick comparables because so much goes into them, but something like a lipstick is a pretty good one. RRP for a drugstore lipstick is $21 in Australia, MSRP in the US is $11.

Then, to tighten it in to a more micro level, Pittsburg is in one of the most famously economically depressed areas of the US, known as the rust belt.
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rust_Belt

So, while $19 an hour for a family of three is hardly a living wage (hence her qualifying for a ton of welfare benefits), it’s not as “off” as it may seem.

It definitely does have a kitchen but there never seem to be many customers overnight. It's a "GetGo". I think she's over-inflating her hourly pay. It's easy to find online. The most she's getting paid would be $14 - $16 hour. She may have gotten a small signing bonus and some of the positions look like they have another bonus at 60 and then 90 days. But she isn't making what she's claiming. The supervisor positions don't even pay more than $18/hour.

i thought maybe she gets more because she’s doing the night shifts. i can’t get over the low pay rates in the US. a job like that in australia so would pay way more than that. it’s illegal here to pay anyone that little. ok in the interest of research, i’ve just pulled up a similar job in the major capital city in which i live. $30-$43 an hour (it’s casual employment meaning impermanent and no holidays or benefits, so similar model to what niki works under).

Don’t forget the exchange rate. 19 USD is 29 AUD. And Nikki lives in a very economically depressed city (nothing like a capital city) where the cost of living is low.

I don’t know if she does cashier work or just cooking at the gas station job, but with his record it’s probably unlikely he’d be hired for a position that requires handling money.

They were in the same class at Peloton when she went. But no pics with her or drinks after a ride. Maybe BBB just did a quick train ride to the city and didn’t have time but that is a specialty enough occasion(both getting into the same class) that you think they’d take a pic together and share on IG if they respected each other at all.

Jen also mentioned she learned from “someone” how to game the system and actually get into a class. So that could have been BBB. But it’s definitely odd that they were in the same class and nothing social before or after. Even if you were just taking a quick train ride in, you’d think you’d make a half an hour for tea with someone in town from a thousand miles away (if you weren’t deliberately avoiding smelly narcissists that day).

Who could she have reached out to and been subtlety or firmly rejected?

My top choice is still other travel YouTubers (candidates: Alison Anderson, Eva zu Beck, Nate and whoever).

The old Erin Condren marketing manager? That HS friend she’d meet up with very occasionally in the MHWL days? The Spork couple?

Maybe BBB? She seemed to be avoiding Jen at Disney when Jen came by her booth.

That’s a good one! I’ve wondered about their (lack of) friendship. If nothing else, Jen is a loyal customer with a decent viewership, so you’d think that would be enough a hook.

I know nothing about BBB except what I’ve read here on the Jen thread but it seems they’re both into Disney, RunDisney, and Peloton. And maybe they both have young-ish kids?

I seem to remember them meeting up when Jen was still with Don and maybe once during RunDisney (aside from Jen coming by her booth).

I can see BBB in the category of Jen wanting to expand their friendship now that she’s divorced and wants some friends and BBB, whose life is super busy and hasn’t gone through a change, not reading the signals. And Jen misinterprets this as being gently rebuffed.

Then again, I do think it’s odd how often they’re in the same place, with similar interests, that they don’t meet up (like for the Disney yoga perhaps). Wonder if Jen pulled some sort of ignorant dck move that she didn’t even realize because she’s incapable of self-awareness, and BBB has strategically avoided her since.

It’s just so sad and twisted that Jen interprets suggestions on how to meet people as telling her how she should live her life.

In a kind and good world, a best friend would fall into your life, along with a good man, and both would love you just the way you are.

But that’s magical thinking. The only way to find a friend is to interact with other humans. You can help the odds by doing so in situations where there is already a mutual interest. And it still certainly isn’t guaranteed. And even the best case scenario, it might not be a soul mate you can call when you need help or to cry, but someone you meet for coffee once in a while.

It’s like Jen is this strange purist in which she believes a friend with an instant connection should organically appear, fully formed, into her orbit while she lives her life exactly how she wants to.
