Any predictions to what she bought on the Alaskan cruise? And where will next year’s summer adventure be? My guess is Iceland, but I’m not sure Disney cruises there.

    They do!

I'll buy petite long-sleeved tops and sweaters because my arms are short, but the pants are usually not right. I need the regular rise with a short inseam.

Hi Toni, take the stick out of your ass. :goodbye_smiley_emoticon:

She looks very jowly in those stories.

If she's calling it chatty, I am definitely out!

The French are very family oriented. Paris is a lovely place to take children.

She's telling us all about Europe like she knows. Grocery stores are small (clearly never went to a Sainsbury's in London). But many cities in the US have smaller stores in tourist areas, NYC, Miami, etc. You go to the suburbs to get the big supermarkets. I've been to grocery stores in Germany and England that were very large. And no, afternoon tea isn't something the English do much any more. You no longer stop work in the afternoon. Still a lot of tea drinking, of course. And cafes are more specifically Parisian, not really French. Books and films and art are big parts of French culture.

And she says it--the French weren't nice like the English. :smoking-smiley-face:

It isn't tea unless there are tea leaves in it. That herbal stuff is what the Brits would drink if they were sick.

Oh this will be really boring. As opposed to boring.

She only seems happy in Michigan. She hated Alabama (especially her first house), but she was looking into Minnesota while she was in AL, because it has the HQ of Dan's employer. She can't continue being "mommy" forever, her role is going to change eventually. She could certainly volunteer, train for a different career, do a million other things than shilling Amazon junk and booking trips to WDW.

I think I would downgrade my flight and spend more time in Europe. A week? Call me a snob, but two weeks would be my minimum. (I am a cheapo traveler, though, I'm sure she stayed in spendy hotels.) And all those afternoon teas. Go do something else! Theater is so great in London, the museums are awesome, even ride the fucking London Eye or something. Climb to the top of St. Paul's, see the National Gallery, but tea tea and more tea? Did they even go to the Tower?

Weird travel schedule. They spent, what, like 2 days in England? Then go to Paris for 2-ish days, now back in England again. Wonder who came up with that itinerary?

I was just thinking the same thing. I spent more time in Paris as a broke ass college student.

Soooo happy to be in Paris!

Hopefully the streets are clean enough for her. And is she trying to show us how poorly she puts neutrals together?

They're all sooooo American. Which is fine, that's what they are. Also, that was a whistle stop tour of England. One measly afternoon in Bath?
