I'm glad you that you were able to put a stop to it and sad for your sister that she continues to want to please them..... maybe in time she will be able to assert herself as difficult as it must be..... it may take her longer than it took you but it could happen. It's a terrible weight to carry around, no doubt. |

Exactly. There comes a time when you must let go and let them take responsibility for their own mistakes. Marnie is conditioning her sons into "checking in" with her throughout their entire lives. | | Well, the bottom line is that Marnie and her lovely Babe will not always be there to hold their hands and bark their orders at them. When Shane is out on his own at school will they be there every second to remind him of what to do? And let's say for argument sake they ruined their phones...... kids their age could and should have part time jobs to teach them responsibility...... in fact Jake did have a job at a pizza place, if I remember correctly..... buy the new phone for them and then have them pay you back in payments. Teach them responsibility instead. There comes a time when our children need to learn on their own. If they choose to keep coddling their kids at least speak to them in a respectful manner. I'm not saying be June and Ward all of the time but you know what I'm saying. Just the tone of their voice would make my insides shake if I were them.... just not right. |

| | Had nothing to do so I watched some parts that I missed. WOW, the way they yelled over to Shane and Jake about the water and their phones. What is wrong with them! They are no doubt treating them like they are little kids. They demand respect from their children and they do get it but just because they are your children does not mean you should talk to them so disrespectfully and like they are five when one is on his way to college and the other is in high school. Will it ever end? I think with Marnie and Doufus it's more of a control issue rather than good parenting or anything else, they just love showing authority and don't stop and think for a second that they are embarrassing their grown boys, could you just imagine when they do that to them in front of their friends?? No doubt they do. And poor Jake, that witch really has him right under her thumb where she wants him, it's infuriating and sad at the same time to watch how he jumps at her commands. You would think they were raising dogs/animals instead of human beings the way they bark orders at them. Just wow... |

Who knows what goes on behind closed doors...... maybe they have discussed it, maybe he's against the meetups but she insists on them and so therefore, she's on her own. I sometimes picture myself in the car with her.... or walking next to her outside or in a store as she's babbling away like an idiot to the camera. It's total embarrassment.... just the fact of knowing others are looking at you.... it's got to be the most uncomfortable feeling, to the average person that is, we know Marnie loves it. I don't care what we think of Babe but you have to give him some credit for putting up with this nonsense.... it's a part of his life when he is with her. My husband would have broken that camera into smithereens while I slept before he would ever tolerate such insanity.... and he happens to be a very easy going guy. |

Right, Vanessa, I make you a bet she has bought subscribers, most of them do. The very successful you tubers have the right amount of views for the number of subscribers they have. Marnie has like over 70,000 but her views are around 10,000 per video give or take a few. She can buy subscribers and try as hard as she wants but the fact is is that she is a nasty unlikable person and the more somebody watches her..... they find that out, just like us. |

| Thoughts...
She's telling us how the restaurant looks like a dump but is supposed to have really good food.... they had to park in a back parking-lot..... but there were ~really nice cars back there so she's hoping they'll be pleasantly surprised.~ What is she saying, if there were old not so nice cars parked back there that would automatically mean the food was shit, because only people driving good cars can tell the difference between good and bad cuisine? She is one nasty individual.
She cracks me up how she is so in love with herself as you can tell when she talks to the camera outside with people looking at her... she's a star in her own little world! Get a life Marnie!
I used to think old baby hands was nice looking when she first started to show him but I can honestly say that now I find him unattractive... maybe it's the weight gain and unshaven grey stubble. He's dirty and unkempt looking. The two of them go perfectly together.
Not too many people showing up for her get together.... I counted 4 people waving at the camera, too bad the baby didn't wave because that would have made 5.... oh but wait, one person had already left........ but she likes the small turnout she says! Sure she does! She probably holds her breath on the way to the meetups hoping that at least somebody will come.
Sure there was more to the vlog but I ff through a lot. I just can't stand her! |
