| I kept my first husband's last name after our divorce. We didn't have children, but I was known professionally by that name and didn't want to deal with changing it. (Even though he was a sh*t bag...) I did change my name after I got remarried because we planned to have kids and I wanted us all to have the same last name. It was a pain...and I had to redo all my professional stuff. But...I've been, very happily, Mrs. Horror Queen since 2013.
Honestly, knowing what I do now... I would have went back to my maiden name after my divorce. Just...ripped the bandaid off. But, again, no kids. |

| I don't care for it. But, maybe in the area they were wanting it's hard to find 7 bedrooms with land? I know nothing about Chicago area real estate... But, something like that, where I live, and even where I am from (Pittsburgh area), would be pretty rare.
I will say it is nice they wanted enough space for everyone to have their own space. |

On a WAY more important note, I am praying tonight for the people (and bakers!) in the path of Ida tonight. I cannot imagine the fear and the destruction :'(
I am in upstate NY. Yes it snows from like October through April but we don't get anything truly scary like so many other areas so we are spoiled in that regard
