What's the over/under on Jen quitting YouTube. I don't think she'll make it to CCs 2nd birthday but I know a lot of people think she'll never be able to leave

It's so weird that Don isn't in that picture. It's clearly going to be the only Christmas photo she posts today.Maybe all the ones she took Don looked really nice so she refused to post them

I was sort of able to read her list of things she is thankful for in Dec

    A happy & healthy baby
    dons successful back surgery
    a warm & cozy home
    celebrations with loved ones
    snow, snow , snow, snow!
    holiday treats by the fire
    days fully lives
    this projects *Magic*
    all of the twinkle
    online holiday shopping
    safe travels for family
    an amazing year
    the magic of the season

Lots of repeating and seriously, her wording of things is so awkward. It's so disingenuous and feels like a hallmark card. Like, it could be anyone's december daily. Not Jen's or The Rosses. Like WTF does "all of the twinkle" mean

Christmas eve morning w/ the Husband and Cat. Christmas Eve and Christmas morning w/ my Dad and Step Mom/ Then the afternoon with Mom, Aunt/Uncle, Cousins etc etc

Although this Christmas is especially exciting because I get to tell my Dad he's going to be a Grandpa next year :D

I hope she didn't get an Escalade. That is so wasteful if you're only hauling around one damn baby and the tiniest mopiest dog of all time

I don't get the fascination with EC planners, I got a happy planner (almost identical) and I love it and it was less money.

and EC planners are SO. BIG. I couldn't have a planner (or journal or whatever) that didn't fit in my purse. I have a planner from Sugar Paper that I got from Target. It's way cute and under $20. Recommended.

I'm thinking she hates to cook because she has to do it. She loves Martha. She loves baking.
But feeding her family she hates. Because it's about other people and makes her feel like a housewife not like the princess.

I *love* baking but could easily take or leave cooking meals (particularly if it is something boring like meat and 3 veg - I will never master timing so everything is ready at the same time!).

I think Jen would fare better trying to tackle an actual recipe for dinner so it feels a bit more like baking, rather than just grilling some fish and steaming some veg.

I'm actually amazed she hasn't bought a Thermomix (unless they aren't a thing in the States yet?)

Same here. Love baking // hate cooking. I think it's because I love the science of it which I know is a reason a lot of people hate it.
Is it weird that the very last thing I want to do after cooking a big meal is eat it? It's like it sucks away my appetite. Haha.
