| | A LOOOONG while ago Kristina mentioned the book "Bringing up bebe" and I know that is deeply influencing the way she acts with Harper. The book is basically this crock of shit about how French babies are all perfect specimens who sleep through the night when they are 2 months old and never fuss and eat everything and so on because parents are structured and don't immediately pick them up when they cry. I don't really feel like derailing this conversation into a debate about sleep training because I couldn't care less what any of ya'll do but I just have a feeling that's why she's so hesitant to pick up Harper and gets annoyed when she cries because she bought into that book hook line and sinker. |

| Ya'll are insane throwing around the autism stuff and have clearly never actually dealt with kids who have it if you think the Schuerman kids do.
The only way for kids to draw disability is if one of their parents are drawing it. So if Jay is getting SSDI then P and L can get it regardless of whether or not they are disabled. It's impossible for a child to draw SSDI because they have earned no quarters working. Now they can draw SSI (different thing) if they are disabled but Sam and Jay would have to have an incredibly low income for that to happen and I doubt it.
This constant circle of speculation about who is getting disability benefits is really dumb. It's more likely they are just in a mountain of debt.
Also I think the discussion about Jay's mother is incredibly dumb. You all paint her as a saint based off her facebook page. We know nothing about her relationship with Jay and what his childhood was like. Don't get me wrong, Jay is currently a lazy piece of shit but he may have a very valid reason for not talking with his mother and I don't think you owe toxic family members anything just because they are related to you. |

She probably needed regular braces as well. There are some other youtubers who did invisilign and has similar disappointing results. But I guess I can understand why an adult wouldn't want the metal mouth for 2 years. |

| The goodbye video encapsulates exactly why they have so many haters...she is so disingenuous. Sam didn't do the vlogs, despite hating it, because she "didn't want to disappoint" her viewers. She did it for the money. So just be honest and say it. I hate how youtubers are never honest and never say what it's really about ($$$). I would have had some respect for Sam if she just said it was no longer worth the money.
It's clear Sam has been very unhappy for a long time. This recent obsession with her looks is really sad. At some point she is gonna realize the botox, "fixed" teeth, constant nail appointments, hair coloring (not to mention the home decor hoarding, furniture rearranging) etc is never going to make her happy. Hopefully one day she realizes what so many others see as obvious; that Jay is a useless leech. She needs to kick him to the curb or give him an ultimatum. It's pathetic he isn't working, and I have no doubt in my mind Sam would quit youtube altogether if she financially could.
We all know they read here, that they read guru gossip, and that they get negative comments. The FIRST TIME anyone ever called my baby ugly or weird or whatever would be the second I delete everything and disappear from the Internet. So it's kind of amazing to me that they continued the SchuermanShow for so long because I don't know how either of them, especially Sam, had the stomach for the negativity directed at their children.
Of course no one WANTS to work a menial job, and sitting around all day doing nothing is very appealing, but I don't know how anyone finds it to be worth it when it's done at the expense of your children and mental well-being. To me this whole thing is at least a step in the right direction for Sam. Hopefully she realizes she shouldn't be sacrificing her children so that she and the man-child she lives with can be lazy selfish assholes all day. |
