| My sister had a similar thing , her fiancé was always sucking up to his dad ,
His father was a hot shot , a diplomat for Germany at the UN , he was living in New York at the time of the incident (not in Germany).
Anyways her fiancé parents invited my sister and their son to visit , they provided a private flight the works ,
My sister said as the month wore on she lost more and more respect for her fiancé, to the point of starting to really dislike him ,
He acted like an utter hypocrite in front of his parents, we all are guilty of this to an extent but this was a lot of hypocrisy,
Anyways his dad started on drugs especially weed and her fiancé was agreeing agreeing!
My sister just couldn't take it , she said oh you don't know christoph likes a joint at the weekend,
She said , I instantly regretted it lol , it just popped out because he was being such a sell out /liar.
Anyways she ended it she had no respect for him anymore,
I wonder how Jen feels having to suck up and watch her hubby compromise consistently, it would drive me mad .

Agreed , plus Emily now had a major head start on Jen in the grandbaby stakes ,
The bond is already sealed as the first granddaughter, plus Jen is clingy with cc which wouldn't help cc gain any ground ,
Plus as the older granddaughter, she can do more eg disneyworld, cc was pretty much a decoration, as she couldn't really engage at her age ,
Where as dons parents could have a ball with their older grandchild , that was a much better age to be there,
