Forget Jen going from garbage monster to dress wearer--those cabinet pulls are the real chameleons here!! HOW do they look black matte & satin nickle at different times?

They were satin nickel in the listing but she had them changed to black. I did initially see the correct house online but I didn't think it was hers because of the hardware and coulters. We never saw the counters in her stories, but I just assumed they would be the same as the island. I bet she had work done in the laundry room to make it more of a mud room.

Is it normal for wood stain to fade that much in 2 years?? You can see where the kids' carpets were. Maybe Jen was a little too zealous with her DIY cleaning solution

Truly horrible staging. The realtor didn't spend more than $100. The furniture in CC's room looks like ikea and doesn't even match. She should have made Jen move the ugly old brown couch. People spending $1.5 million don't want to see an old dumpy couch. They really needed to replace the round disc light in the dining room with a real chandelier. The master bed looks ok, and the kitchen looks good, but that's it.

Whyyyyyy did she not pay movers to pack?? Such a martyr.

Why did she not let the movers at least take the boxes? Why is this video so damn dark?

Because of the virus. She wanted them touching as little as possible, which is smart.

dear friends I received a PM from someone stating that this is the house. the person that shared this information included a kitchen pic:

    zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz0000

just to compare from the video the school FB page posted:

    zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz0000

the Princess ended up in a house that is even nicer on the inside (to me) than the old house. because of course

Yup. That has to be the house. There is no way it isn’t.

The only issue is the cabinet behind CC has black handle pulls and in the first photo we have satin nickel (silver).

From the maybe house listing on zillow

    Sale Terms: Conventional

This means that the buyer of the home took out a conventional mortgage? It could say cash I'm thinking. We need our realtor friend to weigh in.

If it’s a flip, they didn’t have to go high finish.

And the handles are easily replaced by Vincente (or spray painted) if she really wanted black.

This house closed on the You Got This! day in her planner.

I just don’t see Jen having a strong enough aesthetic sensibility to want to change handles or counters when they’re new. The handles especially are such a subtle change, and these match the old kitchen better. I can’t see her wanting to change that. Transitions, you know.

It's possible she loved the house, price, location, and the realtor convinced her changing the countertops would be a simple fix. I think it would be under $15,000. But the stovetop is on the counter so not sure how they worked around that.

If Meow does have the correct house, that means Jen had the countertop & island granite ripped out and replaced. The pulls on the cabinets were also changed. The realtor lines up because it's the same one selling her place. I think the price is right on with what she'd spend. I noticed on a map a Starbucks nearby and isn't that the town Don is now in? It's close to her parents too. I could see her also switching the carpeting upstairs for hardwood.
  9. .
New theory: As a condition of the home sale, she had the seller & agent remove the interior photos from the online listing.
  10. .
I don't think we're getting a home tour anytime soon. Probably 5 videos of her sorting through clutter. We might get some clues as to the new house size though.
  11. .
Can someone create a google map with pins of: Jen's old house, Don's rental, Ross grandparents' house, Jen's parents' house, the Soup Kitchen, and her current Whole Foods? This would help narrow things down. I see her within a 5 mile radius of all of these places.

Also, I just want to see her new house, I'm not saying we should plaster the address here for the internet to see. Maybe we could PM each other when one of us finds it.

I think Don gave her the home thinking she would stay and gave her the yearly alimony to cover the taxes. She's probably buying something in the 750,000 range bc that would give her a nice chunk of change and lower expenses. I wonder if Don is fuming at her decision to sell.

Island is white, we know that from toilet brush pics in basically the same spot.

There is not a sold kitchen in Glenview that matches this kitchen.
    [/QUOTE]

There are several sold homes in Glenview that only have the exterior photos. The interior pics are sadly not available.

Here are the home clues: french door fridge flanked by white cabinets, and not in it's own built in space. (This makes me think it's a smaller home.) black wrought iron cabinet pulls, double oven, Carerra marble countertop OR Quartz countertop with grey veining to look like Carerra marble.
  13. .
Do we think Jen moved to a home with just one refrigerator? But she usually photographs items on her kitchen counter so it could be the kitchen. I see her still needing 4 beds: her, CC, Donny, and her office.

I found a sold listing on Zillow in Glenview that has the same cabinet, refrigerator and island set up.

Jen's cabinets have black hardware, these have brushed nickel. Are we only looking in Glenview? Wouldn't it make sense for her to move closer to her parents?
  15. .
I can't wait to see her new place. Do you think she bought in Glenview or the town where her parents live? I think she once mentioned it was 20 minutes away...what's the name of it? I will look and see if I can find recent solds with that type of kitchen.

Can someone PM me the link to the photos of Don's new bachelor pad? I totally bought Christine's reasoning for the divorce, but I knew she was fake when she said Jen wasn't petite. She is for sure a 4/6, you can tell in group photos. I'm a bit confused as to how she purchased her new home before she sold the current one. Bridge loan maybe or it's possible she borrowed the cash from family. I hope everyone is staying safe! I can't believe Jen moved during a pandemic. How is that safe with movers in your new house touching all your things? Unless she just let the furniture & boxes sit for a few days to let the virus die off.
