I would say we roughly have 4 times per week dinners with meat (and I think this is a lot - considering health and environment).

I checked out the Herman Cain Award subreddit recently and saw that there is still no shortage of people dying from covid who also thought it was just the flu. sucks for them and their families

the freedom truckers are just hilarious and have been my source of entertainment lately. what are they even protesting? cases were going down, mandates being lifted...and then they decided to protest? okay. this would have made more sense a year + ago. they look ridiculous now considering what is going on in another part of the world. just a laughable to time to act like they are living under "tyranny." I thought those types of people hated protestors who blocked traffic? I guess it's different in this case somehow

I worked with covid patients for 2 years and didn’t get covid until my daughter brought it home for the second time in January, from the only place she goes that doesn’t require masks, her dance studio and it spread like wildfire both times, wonder why🤔 The first year I only had masks at work, no shields or gowns, just surgical masks while patients coughed directly in my face at times, the masks work. I’ve also been wearing masks for years during flu season and I haven’t had that in 22 years. People who say they don’t work NEVER wear them properly or don’t wear them at all and of course end up with covid and say “SEE they don’t work”, well no shit Sherlock.

I think the pandemic is over Europe is opening up and stopping the mask requirements and social distancing altogether, other countries are following it’s only a matter of time until the USA follows suit, the virus is mutating weaker as expected it’s going to be treated as flu with a possible yearly vaccine. I know people will say but people are still dying and that’s true a lot of people die from flu yearly we have to learn to live with it obviously herd immunity will also help, I have had my vaccines and Covid unfortunately so I’m certainly not an anti vaxxer however this is the way it’s going now so I guess it’s every person for themselves.

Now this is a just a shame. What is wrong with women thinking that this looks better than a naturally aging face. It seems anyone on YT that is over 50 has these giant chipmunk cheeks. She looked great in the photo on the left.

I think my favorite cookie is the good old traditional chocolate chip. I prefer mine chewy. And if it has the thick rectangular chocolate pieces even better. In the Martha Stewart Cookie book there is an excellent chocolate cookie as well. Snickerdoodles are good but not my favorite.. And I am really not a fan of sugar cookies. A little too boring for me!

I made snickerdoodles this weekend and I just wanted to throw out that those cookies would be perfect for anyone who has little helpers in the kitchen.

I am a ketchup on top girl. But my favorite thing about meatloaf is having a cold meatloaf sandwich the next day. For me, it had to be on white bread with mayo and salt and pepper.

My husband asked for monkey bread this weekend, so that is what I am baking.
