My husband was raised by an extremely Pentecostal mother. He was not allowed to have any Catholic friends. She about had a fit when she found out he was going to take a Catholic girl out on a date. It didn’t happen. I’m glad she was gone before our son started dating a Catholic girl and converted before marrying her. The fire and brimstone would have been heavy and my sweet daughter-in-law would have suffered the brunt of it. She said some despicable things about me when we were dating, too. But that’s another story for another time 😂
I cannot understand the closed-mindedness of that kind of “Christian”. |

| I’ve got to side with Amy on the dark meat. I can’t eat it. And ever since I had Covid and lost my taste and smell, I can still smell dark meat and it literally gags me.
I still fix it for my family, though. Along with some white meat for myself. I’m not a monster 😂 |
