| Agree about those metal vases.
Also, I'm of a mind that bedside tables don't have to match exactly. Balance out each other, yes. But not match.
For the most part, I was nodding my head saying "yes...." to most of her changes. Until she got to the chest of drawers with the metal FARM on it. So childish in my opinion. And then she wants to add a mirror behind the picture frame that is NOT Farmhouse-y. ???? The room does have a very clean look to it, I'll give her that.
Oh wait! I forgot to mention the greenery on the dresser. WTH is that about??? She ran into the other room, grabbed those two vases and shoved some greenery in them. They look.....sad. |

I've been lurking and liking here for a while. I completely agree with you. And I just have to throw this in. I apologize if it's already been brought up... I went to Jen's Instagram and looked at all her pictures of CC. In almost every one of them the toes of CC's left foot are curled down. I think as far back as the 5 month picture. I can't imagine brushing that off for so long. I know Jen had mentioned something about PT, but in the picture in Utah of CC "standing" at the kitchen play set, her toes are still curled down.
I feel so bad for her. Like a lot of you have said, it has to be frustrating for her to not be running and playing with her cousins. Poor thing. |

| I totally agree with you, Ramona! And thanks for posting those Pinterest shots. I tried and tried to figure that out last night and was just way too tired.
None of those tiered trays are to my taste, but technically speaking CCG's is the worst of the worst.
Nobody would care if she said "Hey, I got this great idea from Pinterest (Google, whatever)! Here's my interpretation of it." I generally can't come up with anything original in my non-crafty brain...no shame in my game, I'll admit it and say I copied the idea from somewhere.
Her (and her mom's) bashing needs to stop. It makes them look small and petty. But we know that already, don't we?
ETA: Marie's house will NEVER look like her Pinterest pins. She doesn't have the taste or the eye for it. It'll end up looking like a jumbled mess, just like her tiered tray. |

Those mums!! I've never seen anything like it before! I'm pretty sure in my area (Northeast Ohio) we still do the traditional single mum with a double ribbon of the school colors. Sometimes, a pipe cleaner shaped into the first letter of the high school name is on top of the mum. |

| Holy crap on a cracker! What kind of CIY was that?? Awful, just awful. It was supposed to be a delicate gathering of small branches, not tree trunks. By far, her worst so far.
And what did she say? French Country = Rustic Farmhouse (or something like that). On what planet?? Her aesthetic is waaay off.

| All she would have to say is "this is my version of this DIY" or "I changed it up a bit"....something to let everybody know that it's not her original idea. But no...she just wants to blow everybody away with her "creativity". Those side by side comparisons tell it all.
I do think in her last DIY (the Bucket List one) she did allude to the fact that she was copying an idea she saw somewhere else.
She's a real snooze fest anymore. |
