I live in Colorado.
The local news has reports of tragic deaths in recreational areas almost daily.
Last week, yet another person plunged to their death while hiking (or rock climbing. Can't remember as there have been so many reports this summer). Water levels are at an all-time high.
Afternoons in mountain terrain are iffy at the best of times here. If bad weather is coming it's generally in the Afternoons.
That means high winds and big temperature drops.

I had a lapiplasty (newest technique for bunionectomy)in March 2022. I was 48.
Prior to that I was power walking about an hour a day (I was unemployed and had the time. Damn, I miss that!).
But I always had MAJOR pain in my lower back - on the bunion side- because of my supination of left foot.
My pre- surgery foot looked nothing like gene's. If you compared my foot to gene's, my Bunion would look non-existent
I've been able to maintain my weight (aside from the holiday puffiness lol) because of this board.
The many times it has been stated that you can't out-exercise a bad diet (thanks especially to you fitness pros who chime in!) made me realize that I'm almost 50 and I always thought it was all about exercise. Now i know weight management is mostly about food intake.
Bunions don't get better. Only worse. Facts
At this point she will also have to deal with hammer-toe (when second toe starts resting on top of big toe, because big toe is so misaligned).
I was noticing my 2nd toe was edging that way, and that's when I called the podiatrist.
My mom had 2 bunion surgeries. Her mom had toes that were hideously overlapping and crunched up (sorry, Granny! I get it now).
Tl;Dr
She is in for a much longer and difficult recovery the longer she waits.
Also, I am back to power walking when I can (new job) and all is well.

I got married right after I graduated from college (an actual college degree. Not "I was a nurse" like scamdyn) and even though we're still together and I love him immensely, I get embarrassed by how young i was to take that massive step.
All that to say- I don't think people find "since 8th grade" endearing the way she thinks it does. It's just ick. |

Bio- I used to snark on Marnie (msgoldgirl. Not to be confused with...others)until she pulled the plug on her vlogs.
Have watched Jen from afar.
Truly can't believe how little she values her children.
Not that anyone is asking for my life story- but my 40th was on a random weekday and my 2nd grader wanted me to come to school and have lunch with her because...well...she just wanted to celebrate her mommy). I walked into the cafeteria and 75% of the kids wished me happy birthday and her teacher and I had a good laugh about the big 4-0.
THIS is what Jin is missing. Actually connecting with and actively participating in your children's lives will provide the memories this bitch idiot makes up in her note books.
I will forever remember (with absolutely no video or photographic documentation) my daughter sharing with her whole class about her mom's birthday.
So, happy 40th, Bertha gene. Ya filthy animal. |

| Coming out of a long time hiatus... i miss the days of manky's Sunday morning vlogs. The snark was glorious!!!! Her mouth-breathing husband/sons were and still are major creeps.
I found Marnie when she was filming the Incel's Bar Mitzvah And going on and on about the set up at The Club, and getting her hair blown out, and her nails done, and her many outfits, and The Club again lol.
I disliked her instantly . I could see the fakery and the absolute posing.
And I don't think she's attractive at all. Those teeth alone are just so bad (sorry. Daughter of dentist. I have a skewed idea of good teeth).
But best of all, when her meds caused her to be have hyperthyroidism, the smug was off the charts.
I LOVE seeing fat Manky!!!
Addendum- no, she is not overweight or even a big size. But it must be killing her to not type her weight as "115 lbs" like she did in 2017. |

She basically abuses laxatives every night, take some kind of uppers during the day, and rarely eats?
I have a relative that lived like that for years. She's pretty troubled now, even though she's gained all the weight back and doesn't abuse those types of drugs.

| Coming out of lurkdom (I loved this board in manky's "skinny days" of 2017 when her thyroid meds pushed her hyperthyroidism.
And she was still vlogging. Ahh... remember Sunday mornings? When we were so excited to watch her shit-show vlogs?).
She was so effing smug about her weight loss and posting her weight and measurements everywhere...her video about "how I lost weight".
That pic that was just shared - her head is twice the size of her thighs.
How or why do these "influencers" think anyone is buying the filtering and photoshopping?
Those pics of Manky in the wild (at a makeup event in a department store a while back) show she is a faker. A fraud.

| I work at a school. Administration just told us if there is one case (students or staff) we will close.
My daughter's university just announced that after spring break ( next week), all classes will be online until April 20th.
She's a music major. Not exactly something you can do online.
I am struggling to understand how this is happening...I know it's dangerous for at-risk people...but most recover from it just like the regular flu. |
