What's the point of some people here giving the link but only within like 2 hours of their posting here? If it's to guarantee only real Bakers, not undercover Jenions, get it, well that doesn't make sense. It all seems a bit cliquey to be honest, like we're back in highschool. I also miss out all the links because I login once a day or once every 2 days. How are we supposed to snark if only a very few members can get to the content? I just want to clear it up: there was no racism intended. Perhaps that's how you perceived it but doesn't mean that's what it was. I didn't want to post again about this but I can't accept being accused of racism when I have the most multicultural family and loving it. You obviously didn't get my point so stop hurling serious accusations like that.

There are a lot of natural things in life that can be extremely unpleasant and down right dangerous. Labor and delivery comes to mind.
There is a stigma around treating peri and menopause, because women have been gaslighted since the dawn of time , to grin and bear it. Complaining is not allowed, pain and suffering needs to be ignored.
Based on this sordid reality,clinical research into peri and meno is extremely sparse and of poor quality because no one took time to do it, and because men dominated the medical field for centuries. We researched enlarged prostates to death, tho!They are also a natural part of male aging.
Things are changing lately, but slowly.
There is zero shame in asking for help and getting help. Not every woman needs help, but those who do should not be labelled as over reacting or whining over a "natural thing". Same rant for mental health.
Never thought of it this way, interesting perspective and seems to have a lot of truth behind it! -
.I'm 40 and I realised I'm in Peri' holy shit it's a nightmare. I'm going to talk to the doctor about it when I go in again. I just got a heap of vitamins yesterday. But sincerely - if you did anything that would be really useful advise to someone who was never told about it, please share.
I just turned 40 too, and so far I have experienced none of this. I’d kind of like to get the show on the road, every month with this nonsense is just too much 😂 but it also makes me nervous because medically, hormone treatment is contraindicated for me, so I’ll pretty much be on my own when the time comes.

.Something random that was the first thing I thought about when I watched the spoon part of her video. She says the woman in the couple that stopped told her that they had only 2 spoons, but that they had been sharing anyway and blablabla.. and ended up giving it to her in the end.
When I am in these types of situations, in the place of the woman who gave the spoon ie. doing a favor to someone else, I avoid telling them anything like that "we only have 2, but..". I would have white lied and said, "oh we have so many to spare, here you go"..
Because I think of the other person.
I just wonder, why? Why tell all of that to someone, which is just going to make them feel worse for asking?
Like just give the damn spoon and don't seem like you're thinking about it so much.
I know we are all different but just something I picked up on.
It also seems really strange that they've been supposedly taking turns with the same spoon all along, when they had two?

.I don’t know how Jen could ever survive an actual emergency. The fact that she sat on a stoop and waited for a passerby and begged for a spoon instead of making do is just pathetic. And the fact she was going to eat off of a sharp knife?! Of all things?! What an idiot! As others have said, just tilt the pouch into your mouth, or use something else. Hell, pop out a sunglasses lens and use it as a little scoop and then pop it back in lol. I’m sure there were a handful of options other than sitting around waiting to beg for help.
