Jill bitchies remark to me has to be her snide, "The biggest build up in history" at the gender reveal party when Jen and Don were trying to open the box of balloons, followed by, "There goes all your money" as the gender was revealed to be a girl. Her FB comment that Winnie wasn't facing forward in a group family photo as well. She's a nitpicker with a critical eye.

I can't help but wonder if some of Jen's obvious body issues came from her. It is very possible that she told Jen she was chunky a time or two (maybe not in those words and maybe not outright) and it just stuck. Sadly, Jen's issues are going to pour right on down to CC as we have all said. This could also be why Jen latched onto Suzanne (or a tiny part of the reason).

My youngest is the same exact age as CC, and we were out shopping this morning because I had many errands to run and I had her holding my hand and walking for most of it. Then we came home, and she rode in her Cozy Coupe on the driveway and we blew bubbles. She is only about half the size of CC, but so much more developed. I hate comparing kids because it isn't fair and they are all so different, but CC's lack of growth is worrisome to me at this point.

My daughter is 15 months old and when we get out of the car, I hold her hand and we walk to the porch. I carry her up the porch steps and once inside, she's walking all over the house. I feel bad for CC because she could be exploring her house and walking all over, and yet she's not. I really hope she'll be better.

    THIRTY. FIVE. MINUTES.

Really! That's why I came here, to get the run down. I can't watch 35 minutes of Jen, lol.

I know the issues that come with an only child, but at this point I agree; I only want one.

Only child here! We get a bad rap but we're an okay bunch

My dad is an only child, as is my MIL and also some cousins. My daughter will be an only child as well. :) I think you're an okay bunch!

Okay, LONG time lurker here. Came for the Jen boards, but also lurk on the KB boards. Anyway, I feel like I have to participate now. :Muffin:

I just listened to her new video while I was puttering away at other things, and the thing that made me roll my eyes was her making a bunch of excuses as to why she's showing already. She clearly felt the need to justify it 5 times over...

A few of my friends from my mom group are pregnant with #2 and they began showing earlier too. We all had our babies in late spring/early summer of 2016 so our kids are all the same age. Jen, that's why you're showing early. It's not a special snowflake thing!

How do you "go out of your way" to avoid throwing up?

I wish I knew... I puked for 5 months with my first... the only way to possibly head it off was to get rid of anything with any smell whatsoever....the second I got a whiff of something...it was over...especially fun when you work in a hospital...

Thanksgiving almost did me in entirely....raw turkey...horrendous

I was on Diclegis, an anti-nausea medication, for my entire pregnancy. It's the only way I was able to eat and gain weight. I took it in the late morning and at night, and I tried to skip the morning dose once. It wasn't pretty...so nauseated. Thank God for Diclegis!

Those mamas out there: How far along were you when you felt the baby? I was 16 weeks, and it felt like a goldfish was in my uterus. 13 weeks is awful early. The baby is still like teeny tiny. But then again, it's Jen. I'm sure it's possible :embarrassed-smile-smiley-emotic
So many WTF moments in this vlog.

I was probably around 16 weeks when I first felt a little flutter. I thought it was the baby and told my mom and my friend, and they confirmed that what I felt was most likely baby girl kicking. :) I began wearing maternity jeans at around the same time.

What age gap do people think is a good one? I've got a five month old and was always planning an 18 month age gap ... until I gave birth. I cannot imagine being pregnant again in a few months now. What age gaps do you all like or dislike between your children? Just for curiosity's sake. I'm about to turn 33 so it's on my mind a lot.

My older brother and I are 3 years apart. My parents felt it was a good gap between the two of us because my brother got to have plenty of time as an only child, learned to be somewhat independent, and my mom potty trained him at 2 1/2 because she was pregnant with me, and didn't want two kids in diapers! Lol

I have a cousin who has five kids, and the age ranges are all different. Some kids are just over a year apart, some are two or more years, and from the oldest to youngest, it's around a 9 year gap.

    Also, new thread title "CupsRunethOverLikeJen"

Seriously, who speaks like that 😐

And hahaha she's excited because she doesn't have to use hand-me-downs and gets to shop. That's her favorite part.

Wasn't Theo born in February? Imagine if the new baby arrived on the same day!

Lol...and imagine if Emily asked Jen if she wanted any baby clothes that Theo wore. I'd love to picture her answer!

She seemed more excited about buying ALL the things than the fact that she's pregnant.

Last time they did some special early test to see if the baby had developmental issues and check the gender. Apparently it's expensive but they wanted to do it or something from what I remember. I assume they did the same thing this time.

It's the harmony test. It gives genetic info and microdeletions. It IS expensive, but I paid my $35 copay for mine and that's it. They billed my insurance $3000 but I've heard it goes as high as $10k. Her brag is about that part. I bet she only paid her copay, too. I'm sure they have Chicago's best insurance.

I had that done as well, since at 40 I was considered "advanced maternal age." The insurance did cover a large portion of it, and I was able to find out I was having a girl. Jen is only 34 now, so do you think she's considered advanced maternal age as well, or did she just want to know the gender beforehand?

I can't wait for DRIV to pee in her face

Lol...who's going to mention "pee pee teepees" to Jen?

My cousin has four boys. Jen, prepare for all the farts and fart jokes!

I'd thought she was pregnant when I saw the pillow. She doesn't use stuff unless it's for a certain reason. I don't think she was that enthused in the announcement though.

    Congratulations! :)

So, poor Charlotte has to swim wearing sleeves and a hat in the pool. Is this common?

In an outdoor pool/beach I would say yes, if the child might burn easily. But inside, a regular sleeveless/short sleeved suit is fine, and no hat would be needed. I have a rash guard shirt for my daughter as well as a sleeveless bathing suit, and I just alternate what she wears. So far she's only been in her baby pool outside and at the beach.

She's found time to read again....please...

I know! I have a Kindle and there are nights when the kiddo is fighting sleep so I'm rocking her - one hand on her, the other with the Kindle - and reading a book.

I do love the fresh flowers, but with two cats, I'm afraid that one (or both) will try to eat something they're not supposed to.

    It's abnormal to me.
    Even during the school year.
No one is even home by 5.
    :being-confused-smiley-emoticon:

When I was working I wouldn't get home until around 6:30, so unless hubby started dinner we wouldn't eat until 7:30 at best. Now, I feed Katie around 5:30 or 6, and sometimes I'll eat dinner with her, but at times I'm not hungry enough at that time.

I have to say...I like this blue and white bedding.

I was just thinking that! Did Jen mention where it's from? I'm assuming Pottery Barn.

I'm watching the favorites video now and she definitely flung Winnie onto the bed! Really Jen, she's eight years old now. Be more careful with her, you dolt.

Hi everyone! :) Long time no see, I know! I was able to find this board after Jen's latest videos. Winnie finally got a hair cut and what the heck is Jen doing feeding CC popcorn?! Good grief!

Katie is now 14 months and walking and talking up a storm! I absolutely love being a mommy! :) I've finished grad school, yay! Right now I'm a stay-at-home mom but I'm also looking for a teaching position. Hubby and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary this past spring and recently took Katie to the beach for the first time. She LOVED it! :)

Glad to be back! I'm trying to keep up on the posts, lol. I usually have time at night once Katie's gone to bed.

Where do I even start with her IG story. How is the child going to learn to walk if she never puts her in supportive shoes? She can wear those "slippers" in the house, but she needs hard supportive shoes for outside.

They make popcorn without the kernels....it's really just cheese puffs but still, I would not feed my 18 month old popcorn.

Katie wears either sandals or sneakers when she's out of the house. Around the house, I let her be barefoot. Sturdy shoes or barefoot - those are the best for toddlers learning to walk. No socks, no slippers...you'd think with all the research Jen does she'd know this.
