I can’t imagine using your thumb... that would not be my finger of choice.

My daughter Suddenly hates dresses, but when she wears them I tend to put pants on her with dresses because she’s constantly on the ground playing or falling and it protects her a bit more than shorts would. Especially if she’s playing outside. Could be the same for CC.

I couldn’t get through her “money saving” video once I saw that whole thing about how to save money before a trip and then she was buying all the things. Just leave that part out and do a normal haul/video.

I’d love to know what you guys think she should wear. I’m pretty awful with style and probably have a similar ”momiform” to Jen.

I’m sure it’s not a new development and that’s one of the reasons it doesn’t seem like a big deal. If they just filed then it’s been on the table for at least a few months if not longer.

I don't know if Donny has a speech delay. As with everything, we only see so much of their life.

My daughter is about the same age and knows a ton of words, but I never really catch it on video so on social media she looks like she doesn't talk much. Could just be that he doesn't talk that often or stops when the camera is on (which is what my daughter does). I'm sure anyone who follows me who doesn't see her much in person assumes she doesn't talk too.

Apparently you tubers are not allowed to say what they make. However, someone mentioned that if you take the high end of the scale and cut it in half that is about what they are making. Which would mean Jen is making about 500 to 600 a month. That would pay her elec bill.
You tubers have to be very careful with sponsors. Viewers give creators a lot of flak if there are very many of them. It's just watching an advertisement. She needs to make more videos and do what she does best. Flit around , be perky, and chat. That's what I tuned in at the beginning to watch her do and for some reason it is entertaining.

I think they might have changed that recently? I haven't looked into it officially. That or some youtubers are just rebelling and putting their earnings out there anyway. I've been seeing a lot of the "What youtube paid me in 2019" type videos in recent weeks. I follow someone who has less followers than Jen who made around $75k last year just from ads.

In my experience Social Blade estimates are low, but it could be all over the place. I haven't spent too much time comparing, just looked at a couple accounts where I know their earnings. I've seen a lot of channels making way more than the estimated range. I personally make more than the estimated range on my tiny channel.

Between regular content and affiliate earnings since she posts about products all the time anyway Jen could pretty easily take home over $100k. Double that if she actually works hard at it HA.

I’m watching the March 2019 Disney World Vlog and TBH it’s making me kind of sad. I’m only about half way through, but they just look like a normal happy family to me. There isn’t a ton of interaction between the two of them, but what there is looks pretty normal. I know it was almost a year ago and people are good at putting a good face on, but it really just does look like everything is fine.

I know we snark on them a lot, but it is sad.

I remember when they went to her brother's house and traveled with not one, but TWO water stands, taking the entire back seat of the car. One for the hotel room, one for her brother's house.
    I was fascinated.

I don’t remember that. Seriously. Is that dog incapable of drinking from a regular bowl? I think she’d survive it for a few days.

I honestly doubt patreon or anything like that will pan out to be enough for her.

I think she could really make bank on her channel pretty easily (with work, but she has the views and fanbase in place) but we'll see what she does about that. She basically wants more money doing exactly what she's doing now which isn't going to work.

Am I the only one who really doesn't think Don makes THAT much money? Being in the 1% is like $400k or more per year MINIMUM. I just don't see him making that much, but maybe that's just me.

I know people who live similar lifestyles (million dollar house, lots of trips, etc.) and they make probably half that which wouldn't be enough to support two households in the Chicago area like Don's going to have to do.

Someone looked up the publicly available financials for the company and the CEO salary was $1M +/-

Oh dang! Thank you, I didn't know that. I really all this time figured he made a lot, but certainly not that much.

I'm back after not really watching or being in here for a while.

Kimmy just got boring in addition to her paper plate use that makes me ragey.

I saw maybe her daughter got engaged? Anything else exciting I need to know so I don't have to go back and watch hours of mundane videos?

    Is that a thing?

I just bought my wife a Subway sandwich because she didn't like the hospital food.

I pushed out three kids with no push present in return. To me, the kids were the present.

I also requested wine in the hospital and a decent meal. ;)

My MOM gave me a Roomba after I had my son so...

Been lurking here off and on for a couple of years. I think maybe posted a few times too.

Is there a chance that she won't get much in the settlement? I mean his family is the one with the money and the good lawyers, right? So is there a chance that she'll be left with very little to live on, but the kids are well cared for? School paid for, trust funds, etc. But little cash for Jen to pay for her own lifestyle?

I don't know much about divorces, but I think it's smart of her to try and get that income up to be safe if she wants to maintain anywhere near the lifestyle she's had so far. A membership? Not so much, but I bet she can make some good dough if she's smart about it.
