I have never unpacked my suitcase in a hotel. You never know what has been in those dresser drawers. They probably never clean them. Ick.
Even elite and very $$ hotels in NYC have had bed bug infestations.Also, since I am here:
1. I do not shower every day. I actually think it's not good for people, skin-wise, and for sure it's a drain on resources. I look at least 15 years younger than I am, and although most of that is due to genetics (thanks, Mom), some of it is how I manage my skin. I shower every other day or so. I do, however, shower if I get sweaty regardless of how long it's been since the last shower because sweat turns into stink. I work a full-time job outside my house and it's a non-issue. Showering every day is largely an American cultural thing. In other cultures, people are perfectly clean and shower on a less rigid schedule.
2. I love Airbnbs. Everything on this planet is germ-infested, including your house, unless you find yourself inside a sterile operating room or some equivalent, and even in there it's just a matter of time. I would go stay at an Airbnb way more often if I could. Or a VRBO. Or even a hotel (my last choice).

A lot of truth here. I prefer to shower at night especially if I have to wash my hair. I air dry and would rather style dry hair in the morning, ready to go. That said, I showered Friday night with a hair wash, didn't shower yesterday because I didn't do much. I ran one errand. It was cold. No sweat involved. I went out today no shower as I plan to jump on the peloton in just a few, and will NEED a shower after I get off. I also prefer not to shower on a 3 day camping trip unless there is a really nice warm bathhouse with nice hot showers. If not, it's not worth it. I don't think Jen not showering on her little trip isn't that big of a deal. If it was middle of summer and alot of sweating going on I'd probably get some of those body wipes.
I think it is an american cultural thing too to launder so frequently. Often clothes can be worn if not stained or stinky so on a regular simple day with a decent deoderant things can be aired out and worn again. Less water, less wear and tear on the clothes. Diane In Denmark talks about this in regards to her swap parties and used clothes... the clothes she shows are always in great condition... they don't wash with every wear nor do they tumble dry.
I love hotels and vacation homes. I am fairly picky about cleanliness reviews. Especially places with kitchens. But we need environments with germs. Especially with kids. Prime those immune systems. I probably wouldn't make their pb&J on a hotel dresser.
Re: germs - we have immune systems for a reason. That said, Covid has instilled a heightened sense of caution for viral contamination for many people - warranted or not.
Perspiration (aka, “sweat”) does not “ stink” on its own - the odor comes from bacteria on one’s skin. Bathing/showering eliminates that. -

Yes! We saw him on that tour too. Got a bit nervous when he came out on stage and could barely move, but he does an amazing job working around his limitations and putting on a fantastic show. His son is so good!

Once again she displays the lack of concern for her children by camping and “exploring” alone. I don’t get it. It’s almost as if she doesn’t care that her reckless behavior might cause something to happen to her and leave the kids fully motherless. -

.I might be in the minority here but I agree with Scary Mommy's post. Losing ones virginity for boys still doesn't hold the same significance as for girls. And life achievements for boys are still held at a higher aim, then for girls. It's better than it was but we still need to fight for a lot more.
As for her Insta post, she has those kids for a precious little time. You'd think she would skip her cherished exercise when they are awake and do it while they nap or later in the evening. But no.Jen is always first on Jen's list.
See? I don’t get it. I’m 43, and always knew that whatever I wanted to be, I could be. I don’t even remember it being specifically taught to me or any of my friends, it was just there. It was always just accepted as fact, and in school the girls were usually the smarter ones anyway.
Has something changed? Because I’ve never seen anyone tell a girl that they couldn’t be what they want to be.

I hope one of her drones (Jenions) who lurk here show her the Disney photos. Just the thought that she knows the Bakery has/saw them is one delicious thought! If Jen had spent a few of Don’s dollars on a decorator to work with what she had, and optimize her furniture (and she could have gone super budget with this) she would have a warm, inviting home that she didn’t need to escape.

I agree. I will never understand why she didn’t get a decorator for that house. They way she spends Don’s cash it would have been a bargain. Even her bedroom looks like she just moved in. The bedrooms were the first thing I tackled when we moved to really make our new house feel like home. She hates that house. Trying to turn it into RM1 was a fail.
She fancies herself a “minimalist” but she can’t even do that properly. -

She’s “influenced” by Prissy who had his Christmas decorations up before Halloween was over (the bats were still on the walls). Most lifestyle IGers have Christmas trees up already and are full on decorated. Jen’s paltry and lazy attempts are nonexistent compared to some of the amazing decor those women do.
I’m constantly amazed at the vapidness that is Jen. Not one original bone in her body and she can’t decorate at all nor is she interested in doing so. I’ve never known a woman like that. I’m sure CC could do a better job. Imagine having to live in that grey, empty, lifeless and soul-less house? Those poor children. -

Going back to live theatre being a part of her “family culture” (she meant tradition) why doesn’t she take CC with her? Why not take both kids to community or children’s theatre? I am sure there are local productions the kids would enjoy and CC is certainly old enough to attend an adult performance plus The Nutcracker would be perfect!
She’s a selfish bitch who doesn’t enjoy being with her children and doesn’t stimulate them an iota. She’s a half assed (well, she actually has an ass and a half!) caretaker who does the bare minimum for them and then only on her terms. -

I 100% think that she has body image issues a deep And complicated eating disorder and uses exercise in the wrong way and over exercises
I also think she’s a liar liar who lies!!!!! And she is the one that has brought on all the comments about her body or her food issues or her exercising issues!
She has a broad beam (dat ass) and definitely has thick, heavy thighs. Her upper body is slimmer than her lower, which is heavy, chubby, fat and overweight for her build. No doubt about it.
