Yes, I believe that's right - St. Louis. I've seen pics of him and his daughters but not his wife. Like you said, she probably doesn't want to be plastered all over the internet a la Jen. I think Emily also balks at being filmed. Can't say I blame her but she did do that hideous video with her mother about Montessori schooling with more blowhard rhetoric. |

They definitely don't have a one-on-one relationship. Jen copies Emily but puts a Jen spin on it I'm sure - it's just another way to ingratiate herself to "the fam" especially to Suzanne, Don's first love. They live right down the street from one another - if they had a real relationshop they would be involved in each other's lives outside "the fam" get together's. Emily is weird but then aren't they ALL?? It's all so abnormal. |

Torticollis can have many origins - some are positional in utero and some are from a birth trauma - others have neurological origins. The fact she had those stiff legs looks a bit like a spamodic situation (dystonia) which could be congenital. I agree there might be therapy ongoing that Jen just doesn't want to "share" but whatever it is it seems like they waited maybe too long or it just isn;t working and they need to go to the next step for that little girl = who really is a beautiful child. I hope the situation can be resolved and improved. |

I don't remember what Jen said about CC originally - something about positional in utero or something but if that is the case and at this stage - what about braces to help strengthen her muscles and at least help her learn to walk? She won't talk about it but it's so painfully obvious. I think someone said maybe it's another case of Jen thinking she knows best - OR The Know It All Don thinking he does. He really is insuffrable, isn't he? the way he corrects her so ofen - he sure is (his) mama's little boy! |

She injects her "style" once in a while by use of seasonal napkins and towels or candles but it is essentially the same year after year. She changes the bedding by seasons - everything is so regimented - nothing spontaneous or casual. The living and dining rooms are positively boring IMO. What I have noticed more and more is that she copies EVERYTHING from someone else. Especially Emily and Suzanne. I wonder how her own feels about her alliance with "the fam" - meaning Don's family? |

I went back and looked at older pics of CC and her left foot definitely points downward. The right one a bit less. Looks something like foot drop which could be neurological. The stiff legs, too. Very sad b/c she is a pretty little girl. No doubt there's been no strength exercises b/c Jen "wore" her so much and hovers over her relentlessly. Even when she was a smaller baby, she was always lying on the floor not in something where she could learn to use her legs and feet. And this swaddling craze drives me nuts - yes newborns like it but get over it - children learn about their world with their fingers and toes. They also need their hands free to move themselves especially in bed. This child is now almost 2 years old and sleeps in a sack? No wonder she has no relationship with her legs and feet. SMH. |

I must have missed her commentary about the (IL) house renovations - so it's the kicthen they are having redone?? why?? What else? I know they recently put in the 2nd Floor laundry. Maybe painting for Baby Boy's room? (unless she hasn't yet "decided" on a theme - you know Blue is going to be in there big time - maybe with greys. I noticed a photo on Suzanne's Instagram of Theo in a blue and yellow outfit that is VERY close to the things Jen just bought at the Park City outlets. Does this girl have an original thought/bone in her body?? If I were Emily, I'd get sick and tired of the relentless copying (she probably is).

| | They are definitely not part of the Gold Coast (of Chicago) crowd and not in any Society Blue Book either. Just lots of hot air from a group of self-absorbed homebodies! Although Suzanne (?) has family living in Southampton which isn't exactly the low rent district by any means - what's the relationship there? and yes, they do go there EVERY year in the Spring. Such a regimented life ... no spontaniety - no change - everything prescribed. And don't get me started on Jen's BORING house! I have never met a woman who didn't enjoy decorating and redecorating and her's is just so boring - little color, little innovation - never a real fun change. I take that back, she put in a new backsplah in the kitchen which was hideous - it did not complement the countertops at all. |

| Lurker for a while and wanted to post on this new (to me) format.
Just curious - why do they have a "vacation" house in Utah? Utah is known for it's winter sports attraction and from what I can see none of them ski, snowboard, etc. So other than dining at the Stein Erikson Lodge, why Utah??
Also, why do Jen/Don live on the same street at Emily/Dave and don'tseem to interact other than when the whole "fam" is together and even then, I am skeptical. It seems like Suzanne and Poopsie live in a townhouse not too far away but it's just so strange ... |
