I've never watched GD or even seen any pics, and I legit thought that clip was some type of parody account. THAT's who Jen worships and tries to emulate?

For some reason it occurred to me while watching the “Co-Parenting” vlogmas today (spoiler alert - this is gonna sound like Jenfending but ...) something I’ve thought about before came up again. Not all Jen’s feelings of being “caged” is about Don. She always thought she could not measure up. She was aware/afraid of what people thought of her. Much of this no doubt came from Jill’s critical and bitchy comments and who knows? Could be from Gravy as well - but I have ALWAYS thought Suzanne (and Keith from what little we saw of/heard from him) are world class know-it-all’s - esp. Suze - and I’ll bet anything Jen was always critiqued (read criticized) by Suzanne with a sweet and syrupy (passive aggressive) tongue intending to sound like good, motherly advice. Don is a lot like his mother in that way - always with a snide comment, or a correction but always delivered with an air of superiority. Whatever mistakes - and they are many as we all know - that Jen makes now, she is (hopefully) free from the constant judgements of the Rosses. At least to her knowledge. For someone as insecure as Jen, that kind of thing had to be suffocating and anxiety-producing regardless of the “perks” she reaped whilst living under that forever cloud of feeling inferior and judged.
