Jen feels isolated on her plant-based diet because the fam isn't coddling her like she expected they would. That was the whole reason for her dramatic announcement - she thought everyone would drop what they were doing and make her the focus of their lives. That didn't happen. The "culture of the family" didn't change to accommodate her. No one cares about her whims anymore.

It's so clear that Suzanne is over her bullshit. Judging by the looks that she was exchanging with Don in that vlog, I bet he's been venting to his parents a lot in recent weeks. Poopsie seems to realize that this is just another crazy phase. That scene at the stove where she was aggressively insisting that she NEVER liked touching meat...it was almost like she was daring him to contradict her. She looked almost unhinged.

This is the reason why a month in Utah will be "challenging" for her. BTW, did anyone else notice that she left out Aunt Julie when she was telling us who would be there? She said it would be her parents-in-law, her SIL's family, and her own family - ten people in all. Where's Julie?

I'm cackling that Don lost weight on his meat-based diet. I bet he's been doing accidental keto and dropped 40 lbs. Meanwhile, Jen's over there stuffing her face with carbs and fat and smugly saying her blood sugar is stable. I bet it is, only because it never drops! She's going to develop insulin resistance on her sugar-based diet of choice.

It's sad that her joy of cooking didn't come from wanting to feed her daughter healthy meals.
Jen had to find a way to make cooking all about her because she hated having to do something for others.

She didn't have a problem with cooking meat.
