I just thought of one other thing. What if she hasn't vlogged since the kids have been born because their marriage has been in the shitter that long and she wouldn't have been able to hide it?

Maybe now she will be more free to vlog again!

I'm still on pg 25, but I just thought of something.

She shared so many moment in her videos in the recent past talking about how she was finding her voice and not letting people push her around type of vague BS. Maybe all of that stuff was referring to Don all this time. We thought it was geared towards her mom or towards his parents.

OMG!! I have been on the hayride, I guess I am an eternal optimist! Well color me WRONG!

I still don’t think Tinder was real. There is an app for creating false profiles, so it’s even easier than you think.

Maybe someone close to the fam made the profile to feed the fire..

That said, was it Dr. Phil who said that most divorces are caused by at least one of the three “A’s”. - Adultery, Addiction or Abuse? So sad really. My parents divorced when my sister and I were 1 and 2 and my mom remarried 10 years later to my now Dad. He adopted my sister and I and we changed our names. He is the only father I have ever known. Don’t see that happening with Don though. She’s not going to have to worry about money. The Ross gravy train is real and she has her own inheritance, plus she could really breathe new life into her channel with this “content “. So many video opportunities...

If it's fake SHE created it to make him look bad so she can come out of this looking innocent.

I want to add to my previous post: I still think she's a psycho and (if I was a man) I wouldn't be able to put up with her crazy no matter how good the sex was so she's equally to blame.

I think he wanted the divorce and she filed and shared today to save face.

I haven't been on here in forever...

The fact that he was on Tinder before they’d filed tells me the “hypersexual” part of his profile is accurate. I’m guessing he’s got sex addict tendencies. I know a couple guys like that (and dated one before I met my husband). All high-earning, highly educated, pompous assholes with superiority issues and mild to deep unattractiveness. All obsessed with getting laid and not gentle or friendly about it.

I agree Don will be remarried in 2 years. She will be younger. They’ll have at least one kid.

Jen will go one of two ways:
    1) she won’t date for years and will never remarry
    2) she’ll pull an Ingrid Nilsen and come out of the closet and announce it on YouTube

I feel bad for her. For them. I’m about their age and I’m starting to see a lot of divorces around with our peers. It’s sad. I just hugged my husband good and tight.

    ^THIS!
After the divorce announcement, I believe the Tinder. Here's my theory. She had to put out non-stop for 10 years and when she had kids, he found her lady balls and said no more because kids. I think the baby.daddy shit was all him. That would put him as the dominant. They also liked 50 shades together. I think he couldn't deal and things spiraled from there. I think all her quotes and "I am woman hear me roar" BS helped her get the strength to lock it down and start giving zero fucks (figuratively and literally).

I wonder if his weird sex shit also helped shape her into a freaking weirdo. She just doesn't seem like she would be totally into that and I'm bet it got old, especially after having kids and actually having to do something (take care of them) for once in her life. I bet she did it to get the lifestyle and was into it for a while, but at least most of my friends who I can talk about our sex lives with don't seem to be horny 24/7.

I think it's as simple as he's hornier than a teenage boy, and she's in a stage of her life that she's too tired to put out constantly.

We've all seen how pervy he has been in the past. He said "she takes very good care of me", wonderland body, rack. He only cared about her body. And his tongue thrusting and staring at her tits.

    CHOO CHOO, MOTHER CLUCKERS!!!

(ducking out to catch up on the billion threads. Honestly really sad for their family and children, but about damn time they make it official and move on from the misery.)

What was religious? I must have missed those signs.

That "planner" is just cringey to me. The tabs and all the printed stuff looked like cheap clip art to me.

Also, not a cat person, but cleaning a litter box only once a week seems like not enough. Cat lovers want to weigh in?

I think Dan’s salary can cover the mortgage. I think Di’s marketing job at the real estate firm was used to help fund a down payment or additional payments after purchase. I just don’t think Dan’s salary covers the mortgage and the designer begs, near-constant clothes and home decor shopping, non-sponsored WDW trips, conferences, etc. She got that job at Space Camp pretty quickly.

Yes, I agree. I wasn't clear. I think she had to help save up for the bigger house. I think he covers the mortgage and she pays for all her excess.

What channel is that? I always enjoy finding new finance channels.

Her channel name is Pennies Not Perfection.

She is slightly annoying, I don't watch all of her videos but I do like her budget videos and her income reports. It really is pretty crazy how much people can make on YT.

TY, I will check her channel out.

I don't know about you guyz, but unless my marriage is majorly sucking, I don't feel the need to dedicated a page in my planner to read marriage related books. And I surely don't feel the need to buy a marriage gratitude journal on top of already having a plain gratitude journal. :confused-smiley-emoticon-1:

So many things are snarkworthy in that video, srsly so.many.things, but I want to say a gigantic positive:

GOOD JOB for getting him speech therapy!! :thumbs-up: :giving-thumbs-up-smiley-emotico :clapping-hands-above-head-smile

Now get rid of his GD pacifier!

I think she did have to work if she wanted that big ass house and to keep up with her shopaholic tendencies. We speculated at the time of the move that it was possibly a cut back for Dan because all of a sudden she was talking simpler life and "lifestyle change" and all that. Then she showed us her smaller, more humble house.

That's rich from someone who doesn't even leave the house to grocery shop.

Sadly announcing that makes her look silly whether or not they go to all those places. 1. If she doesn't go then she looks like a poser and full of shit. 2. If she does go, then I will side eye her real hard for not already having a house already. That's a lot of money to blow on 47 trips in a year. Shit like that is precisely why they don't have a house.

She acts like they are going to take 10 trips this year. Yeah right. Maybe 2

Where did she say that? Of course they will take 10. Just like they took that amazing Hawaiian babymoon trip... :crying:

Srsly Jamie, are we going to get 4 two minute videos this week? Don't wear yourself out there.

Based on his dad's eyes, I'm guessing he will need a lot of vision correction if his eyes are going to present normally. It looks like they have been working on it. I won't snark her for that.

She is doing a “finansho” Q&A? There are people who are asking the perpetual renter for financial advise? I find that very amusing. My husband and I were way ahead of her and Colby when we were their age. They even had several years more than we did to start planning, as my hubs and I we were several years older than Jamie and Colby when we got married and started our financial journey! Bottom line is Jamie stayed home when they didn’t have kids which wasted several years of doubling their income, which would have enabled them to invest in properties or savings, just something to propel them so she could stay home once they had kids. Wanting her financial advice? No thank you. Not everyone wants to purposely live in squalor.

^^Agree with all of this. I think she does these BS money videos to try to make them look better off than they are. Remember how they were saving a billion dollars for a house and a vacation and this and that? Yet they rented a dumpy place yet again? I'm sure she will have some excuse for renting & tell us about how they already have half a billion saved up already.
