It would be funny if Jen unknowingly accelerate the relationship.

Aaah you also (usually) only go by one of you last names (it was usually the father’s but now you can just choose). It was weird moving to Germany and having to use both.
I’m almost sure I will keep both of mine (I don’t want my name to sound German, feels like false advertisement 😅). It never crossed my mind to not pass one of mine to my kids. Way harsh (except for those with shitty parents) who, after living their whole life with both mum and dads names to choose only one to 'honour' in giving it to their own spawn

Just a cultural difference I guess, we usually just go by the one we think sounds better. I really don’t care for my dads side of the family but his last name is the one that I use, nobody is offended I promise 😅 |
