Maybe she is going camping out there again. I could see her saying "I can't bear to be away from my babies...my heart hurts...I will go camping so that I can see them, if I need to." I still do not think that she will be staying at the house with them. I just don't.

My theory is the Jan took up Van Life because there's no way she can afford her former lifestyle with Don. She's relatively comfortable, yes but she'd run through her savings like water if she tried to keep up with Old Jen. As a Van Lifer she can afford the Louis Vuitton equivalents of coolers, poop shovels, and generators.

Vanlife and RV travel like portrayed by the popular influencers is extremely expensive. Jen could easily spend as much as she used to at the container store, etc. if she took to it as a full time thing. Her wimpy powerbank isn’t a generator, our generator runs on propane and was $6000. But we RV travel full time right now, by choice, not necessity.

Yep, I agree. She’s going to rent another Van or drive the minivan? She’ll go to Zion, Moab, Arches, Canyonlands etc and then complain about how hot and busy it is.

I sure hope Earth Mama Jen did buy the stones and bring them with her because stone stacking ruins the environment! Clueless like Jen only cares about the likes

This was more like pebble stacking.

Only petite pebbles for our itty bitty Jen.

She only does what she sees on Instagram, she has no clue about the meaning or why it’s bad.

She COPIED doing the stack of stones from a million other Travel YouTubers, hilarious because someone I am sure at THAT place came by w in 5 min and kicked it over.

Agree, alone travel can be great, and an awesome learning experience about the world, but not in your dirty van, next to the hazmat site an hour from home. Buddy system of some type or group is great, solo van lifers often travel in caravans to ensure all are ok, what she did was next level stupid --- makes me wonder if she was trying to sub-level a Lee video into that video, like poor me, I just am all alone and decided to pick up and go camp - (no she planned this down to the microsecond) yeah gotta wonder if this was not only for head pats but some under the table message to Don that she is losing it (not) and needs more ________________ fill in the blank, money, Ross time, Utah access, or else she will find hazardous sites to pull these stunts.

She probably bought those stones at a store to bring with her and set up that picture. And probably took them with her when she left.

Of course the stuff she bought would “be easy to fly with”. Is the whole point of van life not to uhhhh idk use your van?

I’m guessing her big trip she was so excited about booking is going to be traveling to some other country and renting a van. She will check the gear on the plane and then use it in her rented van. Seems like a pretty bad idea for sheltered little Jen, but I bet it’s going to happen.

    I don’t camp. Ever.

    Toilets must flush.
    Air conditioning is mandatory.
If the bed needs a mosquito net, I’m not going.

me too ... I have no desire to camp unless I can be in a luxury 5th wheel or RV

I currently live in a luxury fifth wheel, complete with cold AC, my own endless hot water for showers, dishwasher, laundry machines, generator, etc.

I understand that Jen is trying to stick with something she can drive. But there are some really nice luxury small motorhomes built on the Mercedes van chassis. She would be so much more comfortable in one of those!

We have traveled to many National parks recently and she just doesn’t get that they are busy, if you camp in any sort of campground or RV park with hookups, there will be lots of people. We boondock (dry camp on public land) occasionally, but the thought of Jen going out, by herself in some of these areas is terrifying. She’s such an idiot.

Part of me looks forward to menopause, part of me wants to have a kid before the fertility ship sails. I don't particularly like children, though. I don't think I'd be Jen-level disengaged, but I am afraid of that.

    gif

    Too serious?

I don’t like children. But I like mine. He was the perfect baby, so good and a great sleeper (thanks to the book Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child)
I stopped after him because I knew that the next one would probably be a hellion just like me and I knew I wasn’t the type of person who could deal with a screeching hellion. Jen’s kids cause a visceral reaction to me when they screech in the background.
I still don’t like other people’s children and have no use for them. But mine? Pure love. I also love the women who say kids? No thanks. I have a high level of appreciation for those who are self aware enough to respect that feeling.

Another “One and Done!” We were at the point that we didn’t really NEED to have children to be happy but would possibly like to have one. I got pregnant very unexpectedly, didn’t even know I was pregnant until I was well over 2 months in due to severe endometriosis issues. Our daughter is amazing but a very difficult, red headed, stubborn child. She’s 2.5. I got an IUD after she was born as a suggested treatment for my endometriosis, no more periods and it’s wonderful!

Put it in a pitcher and put it in the fridge, add ice and cream in the morning and boom instant iced coffee

Might be odd, but I don't like iced coffee. My daughter does, but she won't be over until the weekend.

Update: I drank one glorious, delicious cup and threw the rest out. I then made the pot up for the morning and did NOT dump the water into the reservoir.

My mother came to visit and didn’t want us to use our espresso machine for some reason, so she took my cold brew out of the refrigerator and microwaved it :confused-face-smiley-emoticon:

That is the problem! There's so many sweeteners and it's hard to avoid them. Thank you for this information I'm going to look into this brand. Yay!

Yeah, never could drink “diet” anything either. I’m off all soda and only drunk water, coffee or protein shakes now for the past 5 months.

The Orgain clean protein is good, less sweet than premier for sure. But I prefer the vanilla and only can get it online! They have the chocolate at Costco though. Orgain was created by a doctor who is a cancer survivor and saw the need for a protein shake without the artificial seeeteners. It’s uses stevia and erythritol, so if you don’t like stevia, you might not like it.

I picked up some of this today to try to recreate the flavored premier in coffee taste. There is also a company called NuNaturals from Eugene Oregon, that makes a liquid vanilla and chocolate syrup that’s really good! I use their syrups with my nespresso to make a mocha if I’m feeling fancy.DDF61175-429C-47F5-A085-B1C77FE4EEB9

Another clean protein powder brand is PlantFusion although it also has stevia and erythritol. Not a ton of flavors but I like the taste better than many I've tried.

Where do you buy it? I can handle erythritol, just not sucralose, maltodextrin etc.

Meanwhile the premier protein peanut butter cup flavor is fantastic and I'm having trouble finding it. Yum yum yum. A delicious recipe I'm making is a little bit of the banana cream flavor and a little bit of the caramel flavor with the cold brew coffee and it is delightful.

Ugh, I wish the Premier didn’t give me intense migraines! They have so many more flavor options. Last time I tried, I was down for TWO! days. I can’t handles all the artificial sweeteners (sucralose especially)
