Holy Smokes, and some of you thought Hag's interior was dated. Hers was like space age compared to that house. Not a chance would she move in to something that out-of-date.

But, if you read the description, it has been totally updated. I think the prior owner flipped it.

Property Overview - SOLD BEFORE PROCESSING. This stunning remodeled home has everything today's buyer is looking for. Gorgeous updated kitchen and baths, open modern floor plan, full finished basement and so much more. Set on a quiet cul-de-sac with an oversized private yard perfect for entertaining and play time. Nothing to do but unpack your bags and move right in.

Why in the world would they show the before pictures then? That's weird. I would love to see what the remodeled house looks like. It must be one heck of transformation.

Maybe a townhome like this but different finishes? The table near the island works size-wise

Cute house. I wish all listings would include floor plans. Sometimes it is difficult to get a sense of the layout without one.

I don't see her downsizing to three bedrooms unless it has a study. She will definitely have a craftice again.

I’m behind and just caught up.

I don’t see the big deal behind Mother’s or Father’s Day. I usually cook my own dinner. One year, my husband wanted to take me somewhere nice to eat. Well, so did every other husband. Nope. We ended up at McDonald's because 1) I didn’t feel like cooking and 2) the kids could play and be out of my hair, and I could talk to Mr. lena3 without interruption. This year, my kids cooked for me. For Father’s Day, I cooked homemade Ramen. My husband lives Asian cuisine.

    Now, back to Jen.

Ugh. The first thing I would do is get rid of those floors. UGLY is not a strong enough word to describe the. I think that if someone with style and good taste buys this place that it will look a lot better.

The dark floors make her dark house even gloomier. Without many windows to let in light, I would have never gone with such dark flooring.

Me neither. Walls, walls, I need walls. I never understood how people are okay with cozying it up in a family room with a kitchen sink. At the end of a long day when it's time to put my feet up the last thing I want to see or hear is a refrigerator or a dishwasher.

I know open floor plans are the standard these days but I don't like them. I like distinctive rooms, not a one great room where you have to use rugs to delineate where one space begins and another ends. Like Hags living room/ dining room combo. Yuck. Call me old fashioned but I need a room to be a room. Not a space.

I guess artwork is a thing of the past because there are no walls to hang anything up on. How do you plug in electrical items with no wall outlets? Extension cords? Surely not all homes have floor outlets. The ones that do, god forbid if you want carpeting. Do you cut holes in the carpet for the floor outlets?

In a facebook group I'm in, someone posted a reno they did of a MCM house and it looked great from the outside... until you looked at the interior shots and it was all one big room except for bedrooms and bathrooms. Multiple seating areas in the same cavernous space make no sense to me. Sometimes, you want to watch separate TV shows.

That house would be my worst nightmare. It seems more like a hotel lobby than home. I love a house with rooms to retreat into. Each with its own distinct vibe and feel. A different theme or color palate. I get how open kitchens flourished. I also find myself gravitating to the kitchen when people come over. And sure it would be nice to have the best of both worlds: guests hang out in your kitchen while you are cooking in a comfortable seating area. But then I think they got carried away when they turned that comfortable seating area into the family room. That was a step too far, in my opinion.

I’m an interior designer. And the flow of that house is awful. I would blow open wall between kitchen and romper room and reconfigure the hell out of it. First thing to demo is the damn fireplace.

I’m not the biggest fan of the open floor plan trend, but that house has always felt claustrophobic to me.

Ok I watched some of the vlog. I need to catch up on this thread, so excuse me if it’s already been mentioned, but why does she keep saying she’s moving by herself? Is she hoisting furniture up flights of stairs solo? BY HERSELF?? That would be moving by yourself. People actually do that. Move. By. Themselves. Without movers putting your shit into storage. Without being able to order a full house of new furniture (while the previous house still apparently filled with furniture). I mean, she always said how she’s the “house manager”, does all the bill filing, etc. Should be no problem to hire movers and hit up potterybarn.com.

I don't believe for one second that Don is not there assisting. There is no way he simply walked away and told her, "it's your problem". After all it's still his house and belongings too. Moreover, can you imagine Don leaving something like a big move up to her to handle and coordinate? Not a chance. Particularly in her current state in which she cannot muster up the mental energy to even comb her daughter's hair or hers. This is the heifer who cannot cook or cut apples without Don.

She is doing, as she always does, pouring it on thick to elicit sympathy from people.

Jen does look SUPER thin in her new IG stories. Maybe it’s just the angle but her arms especially looked smaller to me.

Definitely has lost weight. I noticed it in her face. Stress of saying goodbye to your old life will do it to you.

After thinking about this waaay too long, I think she did buy at the enclave. I find this same sold listing described as sold sometime in April and also 5/11. Some have it having a previous owner, but look at the listing description: brand new. If you look at the Enclave Website it seems that you can choose your own options from the various models.

It would be low maintenance and I just can't imagine her dealing with previous owners. What do I know, I could be very, very wrong.

I don't see her moving into a five bedroom house. Nor moving into a house that costs $850K with a $20K property tax bill due every year. Nope.

Guys, she's rich so she's using movers, is it really that surprising? When you have full service movers you don't have to touch a thing.

I won't knock her for that. I tip my hat to anyone who packs up their house themselves. Growing up, my father was in the military so we always had full service moves. Packers came in for a couple of days and did it all. I can't imagine packing up an entire house yourself. Lots of work. Too much work.

I have moved three times and packed myself. It was fine. But now I much older and have accumulated a ton of stuff at this point. Next move, I am paying for packers. It's a convenience I am willing to splurge on. Whereas, some people will buy an $800 iPhone every year with a $50/month plan. A couple of years of that will easily pay for packers. Just depends on what you value more and would rather spend your money on.

I have no problem when someone shines a light on injustice. That’s always admirable. But so much of what I see lately seems to be faux outrage, just trying to do what’s expected.

I absolutely agree with that. All I am saying is I will take faux outrage to no outrage at all. Once the voices get loud enough, it doesn't matter what they are saying. It's the noise that matters. It's the sheer volume of people who protested that has brought about changes recently.

Jen has jumped on the bandwagon. Of course. But who cares is my point. Add her voice to the many. Why not?

The herd mentality doesn’t appeal to me. I can decide who deserves my business without the likes of Laken and Jen telling me anything about anything.

Then you are one in a million. Because most people are persuaded by people and events outside of themselves. I don't think Madison Avenue has it all wrong. It is a multi billion dollar ad business for a reason. Most humans are open to suggestion.

I don’t understand why anything needs to be said. This “cancel culture” calling everyone out for everything is tiresome. Don’t like a brand? Don’t buy from them or support them. No one cares about your opinion of XYZ.
    Just quietly do your thing.

I totally agree. Now everybody jumps on social media to spout their words of outrage (or to copy someone else’s), and it so often seems disingenuous. Like they can’t miss a chance for attention. But then again, if they fail to jump on the bandwagon, they get attacked for that. No wonder Jen looks like hell. That’s a lot to keep up with, especially while raising two children alone and single-handedly moving a 3000+ square foot hoard into a new house.

Hmmmm... if you lived on the dark side of injustice you would be happy for anyone to speak up on your behalf. Airhead influencer or otherwise. And not too many people are getting "canceled" who don't deserve it. Why shouldn't EC be called out? What she did makes me sick. If her company has one less sale because of what she did and the voices who spoke out about it, all the better.

She is pissed...and not about Erin Condren’s white privilege.

The level of disgust she shows in the last clip is so over the top. That face that she makes is really something. I really think she’s just using this latest controversy to vent her bitterness. Jen has never cared about anything this much.

What an interesting look to present to the world. How did her hair even get that messy? How is her face so much sharper now? What is she wearing?

I am going to give her a pass on this one. Maybe she doesn't know the right words to say so she copies someone more worldly than her. Like a child mimicking a parent. Moreover, I have seen a lot of people duplicate what others have said these days about BLM. People posting the same Instagram photos and memes. There are loads of privilege people who are not racist but have lived a life where they haven't had to think about injustices. Isolated in their white privilege, they have never been confronted with the reality of how other people may live or are treated. I guarantee at least half of those "woke" protestors never lifted a finger before now to aid the cause of racial equality. So what. They are out there now. That is what counts.

Doesn't bother me if Jen is parroting. At least she is doing SOMETHING. How many of us Bakers have posted a live InstaStory speaking out for BLM or condemning EC? I haven't.

She might have copied what she said but I do applaud that she said it. Many, MANY others will remain silent.

That said, she looked out of it. Couldn't concentrate. Garbled thoughts. Slurred speech. Dark circles. It looked more than being overly fatigued. She looks so unhealthy. Her face also looks more angular, like she has lost weight. Are we sure she is not being poisoned? (kidding)

She is such a shell of her former self that I almost pity her. Sure she has a comfy life but money isn't everything. Obviously. Because she is one miserable human being. I should change my screen name to: NoJoyJen. Keep your money if it means I had to live such a solemn life that it caused me to have dark circles under my eyes every day.

In all seriousness, I do wonder what could be wrong with her? Something clearly isn't right. If she were my daughter, Corona wouldn't stop me from bee-lining it over there to help her. but it doesn't seem like she is getting the help she needs because she continues to look like sh is spiraling downward.
