Bunion surgery is a wide range of procedures. Depending on which approach is used, how much bone and soft tissue is affected, the recovery may range from 6 weeks to over 1 year. The pain and reduction to toe function may impair weight bearing for weeks to months.
The post operative pain can last from weeks to months, to years.
There can be permanent loss of range of motion to the toe. Or worse, depending on the experience of the surgeon and technique used.
After all that, they can come back.

    Hubs is a surgeon.
I don't blame her for hesitating. If they are not causing her pain and impaired movement, why tempt faith. With small kids, not being able to stand up for months is not ideal.

Ahh, okay. Didn't know all that about the bunion situation. Yikes the solution sounds worse than the problem. I see why people only turn to surgery as a last resort. Such a shame.

Well in that case, I feel a tad sorry for her feet. Only the most evil people do I wish pain and suffering on. She is annoying and a pathological liar. But not evil. That is unless, she won't stop feeding those poor kids grilled cheese every day.

I also love the kitchen faucet, I think I need one. We make s’mores with our girls in summer with our fire pit, it’s kind of fun.

Not gonna lie. When I saw that faucet I thought two things:

    1) Give me one STAT!!
    2) The senor will eventually fail and need replacing. How much is that going to cost?

Much to my dismay, I also have bunions. I so hate the way they look, but my nail technician told me her podiatrist brother recommends not having surgery unless they're absolutely unbearable. I guess there can be complications, and the recovery is difficult.

I am sorry you having the bear that.

Okay, I guess that is why she hasn't had surgery.

This is the most horrible nail polish application I have ever seen, since my daughter was 6 years old and got into my nail polish drawer.

My Gawd, it is official. That chick seriously can't do ANYTHING right. Only she would have a nail polish blog with nails that looks that badly done.

the only thing she ever did right was marry Don. After that, she is a complete failure. I won't even give her credit for her YouTube fame. ANYONE would gain followers if they lived a luxurious life, spent money on anything and everything and filmed it. We women eat that shit up.

How sad of a life to be sitting in your backyard all by yourself by a fire eating s’mores. Not even one friend to invite over who could sit opposite of Jen and enjoy girl time.

I was thinking the same thing. It’s one thing to sit on your own and have “me time” by choice... but Jen literally has no one to hang out with and resorts to filming s’mores tips that she knows no one is interested in. What a saddo.

Not that I disagree, but I know people who are not even visiting their parents during this pandemic. Let alone going to hang out with someone making s'mores over a fire in the summer heat.

But we can all agree, she doesn't have any friends pandemic or not.

Wow. Her feet look deformed. I don't know feet. Is that something that can be corrected with surgery? If so, I would spare no expense. How do you spend thousands of dollars on a bedroom set and not put money into fixing your feet? Dammit, forget the bedroom. I would sleep on the floor before I would walk around with those feet.

Does anyone think her new kitchen table is the "Enzo" model from Arhaus? Currently on sale, starting at $1999

    enzo__2_30ENZO39MBKT_A200204chair__2_

    So 1999 $ table + 6 Pottery Barn chairs 1494 $ = 3500 $ just for dining area? and she can't afford to buy a freakin pan?

Table is cute but damn those chairs are UGLY. I mean hideous.

This is so cringey. The kids’ body language says it all. They are confused when she is smiling and showing them affection.

Robot Jen added sitting on beds and stairs to her "loving mother" program.

Good observation. Little Donnie is all smiles until she hugs and kisses him. Then he is like "get away from me bitch" CC is a little more receptive but not by much. Little bonding there with their mother. So sad for those children.

Why is she complaining about how expensive new lamps are? She buys multiple $30 toilet brushes, a new $800k house, and talks about the new furniture and faucets she bought.

Also enjoyed how she discusses that she's 35ish and just learning how to clean her house.

That is her way to humbly brag about how much she has to spend on things. We know she is going to spend however much on whatever. She should stop playing that silly immature pretend game of trying to save money when she shows us her hauls on how much she doesn't save money. Cost is not a factor with her and we all know it. Yeah, we get Hag, you got dollars. And she better keep spending those dollars on stuff because she has nothing else going for her with regards to content. She knows that too.

Everything about her is so damn fake. Don got off easy parting with cash to get rid of her. Finally, money well spent. Unlike all the money he spent keeping her during the marriage.

Her bed is ON SALE for $2499  Regular price is $3599

Spent all that on a bed and we are to believe she didn't pay to have packers to do all the tedious work. Fat chance. That chick didn't lift a finger. I don't care what she showed on video.

I’ve always despised Jen’s taste in rugs.
That disgusting old person runner on her stairs, that weird picnic blanket under the train table :strong_no_smiley_emoticon:

She is already dragging that house down with her vibe. That house pretty much demands being decorated with light colors. Those chairs. No more words.

I despise Jen's taste in everything. The girl needs some friends. No girlfriend worth her salt would let her buy some of the abominations she has purchased or decorate her house the way she has. I mean the very idea of her turning her dining room and living room into Sesame Street playhouse was beyond absurd. I would have strenuously objected to that if I were her friend. And my god, those baby doll dresses?!!!! No way. And what in the world was that doll room all about?!! Hell no!!

No TV on the main floor?!! Are you not in the US? I can't imagine not having a TV on every floor. But then I live in an apartment by myself and have three TVs (bedroom, living room, and my study) the only reason why I don't have one in my kitchen too is because I thought that would be overkill. But just barely.

We’re in the US and we barely watch the one TV we’ve got (it’s just myself and my husband). I don’t mean that in any sort of superior way, we just drifted away from watching anything on the actual television. We stream things on laptops and tablets, we game, or we read. TV gets dusted off if we want to use the PlayStation (rarely unless my husband is into a game at a particular moment so then he plays every day for a few weeks) or when someone visits. I think it’s just overkill with only two people unless you don’t have any portable tech that can’t double as a streaming device (I just discovered that there’s a Hulu app for the Switch). Or you just really want to see things on a bigger screen I guess? We just can’t be bothered :)

Oh I get that. I am venturing away from TV myself. Like yesterday, I was working in my study all day and didn't turn on the TV. That would have been unthinkable two years ago. I always had the TV on even if it was for background noise.

That said, I couldn't not have a TV in every room I spend my time in. It's a crutch. My life can be dull at times so the TV fills the gaps when need be.

Actually, I wonder if more people aren't gravitating away from TVs and turning to their phones, tablets, etc for social media instead? I find myself watching YouTube much more than TV these days.

I’d probably not have a tv on the main floor.... we don’t in our own home, our main floor living room is kind of awkward with a fireplace, it works out fine if the fireplace is the focal, but no where great for a TV. We have a family room downstairs with a big tv and sectional. It’s actually a super common set up in our area.
If I was Jen that’s the way I would go.

I have toyed with the idea of turning my formal dining room into a family room, where I would put yet another TV but I don't feel like moving my dining room furniture into storage. But I never use my dining room. I have a table in my living room that I use to eat at so having a formal dining room is just a waste. I wave at it as I walk by but nothing else.

There was definitely a TV on the porn marble:

    TV

Maybe she hung Peggy Hill there.

I prefer the TV on the wall versus the fireplace. Especially if she had the room set up like the staged furniture. was. Plus I wouldn't want to put holes in the marble. She does need a much larger TV though. That TV is too small for that wall.

Looks like she tried to copy the staged layout with the chairs but got it horribly, horribly wrong. It is amazing how bad her taste is in pretty much everything.

Looking at pictures with boxes in the background or empty walls. She is so lazy. What does she do all day that she can't get to putting things up and decorating. Shortly after I moved in anywhere, I like to make it a cozy home as soon as possible. I have boxes emptied and everything in its place. Including my wall art hung. I couldn't not stand to look at boxes for this long. What a depressing house it must be for those poor kids.

She is such an organizing fraud. If I hadn't found this board she would have been a long distant memory by now.

Not to defend Jen, but I eat a whole thing of lettuce a day. I make a salad for my day job then eat half when I am at my night job.

i'm curious. What kind of salads do you make? I couldn't fathom eating that much salad everyday unless they had some kind of meat in them.

I take my hat off to all the runners. I love exercise, I work out 6 days a week but I hate running. I tried to get into it several times over the years but it's not for me.

Catching up with the Jen thread is the only marathon I take part in. :yellow-laughing-smiley-emoticon

Never had the stamina for running. I walk everyday. I'm lucky to have a great neighborhood park (accessible to everyone not just the 1%) that has a lovely tree-lined paved .6 mile loop. I do 4 loops. I am working up to 5 soon.
