I don't think her staying at home was what solely caused the dissolution of the marriage but that was a lot of time for someone to be with their own thoughts day and day out, especially with not many IRL friends IMO. It’s a status thing to be able to work & earn enough money to have a wife who doesn’t have to work even before kids. And there’s a stereotype regarding a woman who goes to college for an art history degree. I’m not saying that every woman who earns an art history degree is really just after her Mrs. degree, but the stereotype is there for a reason.

| Longtime lurker and this made me finally make an account.
I do blogging and content creation too and I went through a really shitty divorce. I feel bad for her. Sharing so much with the public is a double edge sword. The same people who love you are often the first to tear you apart. I was terrified to share my divorce and kept it a secret for like 18 months until I started dating seriously and really wanted to share
Ironically I divorced a man who loved some of Jen’s recipes so maybe they were bad karma 🤣😂 |
