L 5 minutes ago I think the best thing you could do is stop all of this introspection. I really mean that. Stop 100%. No one little word, no journals, just live. Focus your attention on others. Find somewhere to volunteer or work if you need the money. If Youtube is going to be your only source of income I still believe you should volunteer your time to helping others. It will get you outside of your own head and make you feel good to directly impact someone's life in a positive way. THAT is something to be proud of. Not diving into your own brain and realizing you need more time for you. I am sorry to see that your marriage did not work out but I fear you are going to find yourself still unhappy in the future unless you make great changes. I wish you well.
The Ali Edwards crap encourages already extremely, painfully selfish people to become more and more selfish.
It doesn't encourage self-awareness, self-reflection, critical thinking or experiencing the default ways that you behave as a person and trying to improve upon them to be a better person to be around. That's what people should be focusing on to become better human beings, not how many pictures of themselves with their eyes closed they can stick down in an album surrounded by fluffy words that describe Care Bears rather than 36 year-old children who just have tantrum after tantrum after tantrum because they're too lazy to take on any adult responsibilities.

Welp, mystery solved: She's been Elizabeth Gilbert-ized. Clearly she's had quite the influence on our Jen. How sad. Gilbert is the patron saint of selfishness. Leaving one partner after another when it was convenient for her. Yes, her relationship with her female lover was cut short due to the partner's death, but then she went right back to being with a man. Like Jen, Gilbert had everything she ever needed and yet nothing was ever enough for her. Every bit of 'work' she puts out is a 'love letter to herself'. Every selfish act (and they are endless) is justified and defended by saying it's a 'gift' to others. Oh, barf .

Agreed. Few women get divorced and get to keep the exact lifestyle they're used to. I've seen it but only when the wife had incriminating info on the husband and used it to her advantage.
Theres every reason to believe she will have to get a job when all is said and done. WTF is she going to do? She is pushing 40, never worked a day in her life and has no marketable skills (unless someone out there is in desperate need of an employee who knows how to schlep a ring light around the office all day). And what happens if a prospective employer gets a load of her social profiles? OMG. Can you even imagine??
Do we really think she voluntarily jumped off the gravy train? Her entire persona is based around throwing what she has in everyone's face.
