Did she quit the Wildfit program she was on, because now she's not referring to it as Wildfit but "eating Paleo." She's down 11+ lbs, so hopefully she keeps going on the downward trend.

Her BS about the Built Bars really upset me. I looked at the nutritionals for them and they have quite a bit of added sugar. She has said often when she's shilling them "not a lot of added sugar." That is a straight up lie. There are also sugar alcohols.

That smoothie she made is 800-1000 calories. Fruit is fine, but a shit ton of fruit in one smoothie is not. Mango + Pineapple + banana + protein powder + whatever else I forgot. She said oh but it has no added sugar. Sure Jen.

I thought the same thing! That was a sugar bomb. I make a similar smoothie 5-6 days a week and first, it's my breakfast not an afternoon snack and second, I keep it around 400 calories with spinach, 1/2 banana, 2T no sugar almond butter, a handful of berries and no sugar almond milk.

Just re watched her make it:

    Spinach = 20 calories
    Pineapple coconut water @ 1 cup = 60 calories*
    Whole banana - 100 calories
    Frozen mango chunks @ 1/2 cup = 50 calories*
    Ginger = 10 calories
    Pineapple @ 1/2 cup 40 calories*
    Primal Kitchen Collagen @ 1 serving = 70 Calories

This is 350 calories, but I guessed the amounts of coconut water, mango and pineapple, so maybe its closer to 500+ calories. Still that is a boatload of sugar, especially to have later in the day.

She (again) took zero ownership of the position she now finds herself in.

I didn't watch the video, I just read the recap here, but I watched her IG stories.

If she won't acknowledge her significant contributions that led to this point, I have zero sympathy for her.

Jill probably doesn't, you are right.

Jen has been obsessively exercising for years. And her family knows it. They either ignore it, or support it.

Jill most likely supports whatever Jen does to not look fat. Whether it's healthy for Jen or not.

    Or Jen ignores them.

That's fair. And the more I think about it, it's very possible her mother has always supported her crazy exercising. That lines up with Jill's weight and calorie comments over the past years.

I have a few friends who subscribe to the app and pay for it, but don't have a Peloton. My one friend uses it for yoga, meditation and strength training.

    And Pinterest.

I’m assuming those are the 2 she uses most.

Remember, Jill is in her 70s. I doubt she’s exercising via an app. (No offense to our Senior Bakers).

Is there a way to "cheat" on the Peloton app? I mean... there's no way she is working out that much..and still looks like..well... Big Bertha Gene.

Her spin classes show all sorts of stats, so those are definitely legit.

That level of consistent exercise, and really no noticeable weight loss? She does looks broad and muscular in the shoulders to me. She does strength and bootcamp classes often. Her torso size could be genetic?

She's clearly eating a ton of food. And exercising a f*ckton.

She has over 1000 followers on her Peloton account and it's not locked.

If her family is not aware, they they simply don't care about her.

Or they think exercise addiction is normal. Maybe Jill supports it.

I guarantee her family has no idea.

That’s assuming Jill is even aware an app exists or that it’s viewable. I’m a lot younger and presumably more tech savvy and would never know this is possible. Why have the app if you don’t own a Peloton?

To all SM? I thought only to IG? I guess I missed something too. But I’m too lazy to go back to all those discussions about drinks and whatever, so I’ll just accept this as a given from now on… 🤷‍♀️

    Only Instagram 👍

    And Pinterest.

Switching the subject (but really, is there really any clear subject with Jen currently MIA).

I cannot believe her Peloton stats. I am pretty active, I spin, lift weights, walk, and stretch via the Peloton app. Jen burns 10,000 -more- calories a month, than I do. Her family clearly doesn't intervene, or they would address her insane exercise addiction. Even if they did, Jen would not listen.

Every 3,500 calories burned is roughly 1 lb lost, so you are all right, she's definitely eating a ton.

can we get back to this? wtf...

also I always wonder what PR is on peloton but can't bring myself to google I guess :dunno:

    My theory is personal record?

Yes, it is a personal record, essentially your best output (to date).

I’m guessing Jen didn’t get a shoutout during her 100th ride last night from her boo ... my friend was taking her 500th ride on that same class and she posted that she did. Finding that out first thing in the morning made me laugh.

I am 12 pages behind so forgive me if this was already said. I took Cody's live ride last night and he shouted out "Pretty Neat JEAN." There is no "Pretty Neat Jean" in the searchable Peloton member profile database, so I think he shouted her out, but said her Peloton name incorrectly.

Agreed. You don't spend that much on nursery school if you aren't wealthy.

    QUOTE (Meow2 @ 1/14/2020, 05:26 PM)
I don't understand the debate surrounding their money :being-confused-smiley-emoticon:

of course there are people who are way wealthier. I think we all know they're not billionaires and you can find much nicer houses in (insert whatever city here). have I ever looked at their house and thought "wow what an AMAZING house"? no - not at all. it's a nice house though that is just poorly decorated imo and has the ability to look more impressive than it does. it's not knock-your-socks-off incredible though of course

it's when you look at the big picture though that it's obvious they're not hurting and never will be. the cost of the house (paid off according to some of you), the multiple vacations a year (Disney vacation club members), the handyman, the cleaning lady, Jen's personal trainer, tuition for the kids school, and the biggest one...Jen's seemingly never ending shopping. yes she has shit taste and would often waste a lot of money on stupid crap from Target or Bath and Body Works or whatever but she was also dropping money on high end bags, wallets, etc for a while. she could decide one day that she was going to order new clothes from Nordstrom and stock up on her products from Sephora and spend more than some people make from an entire paycheck like it was nothing. she may be choosing to buy frumpy clothes or ugly décor or lame vacation destinations but the money is still there

If Jen were smart, she would turn this into an opportunity and really get serious about using her blog and YT platform to make a business.

There is a top organization blogger that goes to my church who makes a great living off of her blog, her husband left his job to work for her. They make a very nice living. Jen could easily do the same if she were motivated to do so. Time will tell if this makes or breaks her. It's literally up to her.

Right? I posted about this at the end of the last thread too. Another YouTuber, a mom with 2 kids, posted transparently about her YouTube earnings in 2019. She ended the year with 86k subs, and made 40k between AdSense (30k) and brand sponsorships (10k) in 2019. She explained that if she didn't have a full time job, she could make a lot more money by posting more often -and- taking on more brand sponsorships.

Jen has a huge back catalog of 686 videos that she can continue to make Ad Sense on too. Jen also has 177k subscribers. The other YouTuber made 30k in Adsense with her 83k subscribers and 454 videos in 2019.

Jen could easily clear 50k+ in Ad Sense in 2020, if she started posting consistently. And the real money is in the brand sponsorships. Of course this is a drop in the bucket compared to what Don makes ...

In the last thread there was discussion about Jen's potential earnings on Youtube.

I think this video (from another Jen) is a good example of the money PNL Jen could be making on her channel, especially if she posted consistently.
Of course she'd make more with signficant brand sponsorships:

(this is my first post here, I've been lurking for awhile, and watching Jen for years, hell all!)
