| The whole Tensleigh situation was, of course, too soon - but when one side of a break up moves on too soon it always indicates to me that they were done with the relationship way before the official end. So Don had clearly been over Jen for a while - I think he was absolutely sick of her complaining about having to parent the kids while he was working, and the relationship was going majorly downhill during those baby years.
Also, the situation is compounded by the fact that Jen takes forever to process stuff. She is always 'being gentle with herself' because her ability to move on from ANYTHING is zero. She is the queen of 'I'm still processing this' years after everyone else stopped caring. So her ex-husband dating and getting engaged straight away after their split was obviously a huge problem for her... and still is. |
