so lazylemon ate her gnoochi (which is 3 servings) on the bed while watching an entire Christmas movie and took a nap. She also just needs maybe 8 things on a list (all she really needed was milk and lettuce...that's it, milk. lettuce.) but she put in a walmart plus order and also picked up a kitchen table full more. And she needs to go to Costco for a few things with mark this weekend. And they are Christmas shopping in a day or two without the kids too. Can't make this crap up.

I thought about Lemon today when I had to run out to get a gallon of milk. And by run, I literally mean I needed to get in a little exercise for the day so I threw on my running shoes and RAN to the Kwik Trip a mile from our house. I bought the milk and a couple pounds of bananas because they are super cheap there. Then I walked briskly home. I spent $3.76 and got a bit of fresh air and some physical activity. During my walk home, I thought about if Lemon needed milk, she'd come back with anywhere from $40-$100 worth of impulse buys. I guess she didn't let me down!

    I love Kwik Trip!

We’re rural and if we run out of milk, we run out. Or I just make sure I have enough when I do weekly shopping.

Lemon stuck the elves on the fridge today. Does she plan on not going into that fridge at all today?
I don’t do the elf thing, but even I know you can’t touch them.

    Lemon is so utterly lazy.

Her pillow debacle is just ridiculous. Get over yourself. You suck at life! Get your house ready, what else do you have to do? You don't work from home, you potato from home and play with youtube. Grow up, clean your house, be a good wife and/or get a real job and stop spending fucking money, you irresponsible twat. ✅👌

The anxiety she was giving herself over pillows and decorations....
No one says you have to do all that! Christmas can be simple. She even decorates down to pillows on her bed and shower curtain.
We’re not religious, but we do a big lovey fake tree, stockings, and a light up Santa that hangs in the window. It’s gorgeous and simple.
Kiddo is virtual and we’ll be making snow flakes to hang all over plus some other fun art projects that we’ll recycle at the end of the season.

Arrgghhh! Lemon's laziness kills me. In her first soup she tossed in some frozen pearl onions, I'm guessing because she couldn't be bothered to cut an onion. She then mentioned that she usually puts green beans in the soup, but she only had "long" beans on hand and she didn't want to have to cut them. Come on, seriously?

Also, this is a genuine question. Does she put like WAY too much onion and garlic powder in when she browns meat??? She brags about how she doesn't measure, implying it's because she's such an experienced cook, but looks like the meat got snowed on by the time she's done. I ask because I know I season things fairly lightly, but I'd swear she puts in about 3-4 times as much as I do.

I season my food a lot, but her adding all that garlic and onion powder to dry ground beef just grosses me out. Use a little butter or olive oil to help bring out the flavor of those powders.

LemonLoser has a weekly prep video up. She has a box of 5 dozen! eggs that she is putting into her DT plastic egg holders. She mentions this works for her family, and the kids LOVE getting boxes to play with.......ok that is just odd that 8 and 9 year olds still get excited to play with a small egg box. Are they 3??????

My 8 year old looooves boxes. He’s very much into STEM stuff so will cut up and create new things.
With virtual school, he’s frequently using found objects for his art or STEM specials.

With Lemon though, it seems weird

Little toy cars and baby clips for her 9 and 10 year olds .. lemon is out of touch with reality

Those stuffed gnomes were cute, but she said they were great because the kids won’t break them.
Or you can teach not to touch stuff or do so gently?
My son is the same age at the girls and doesn’t touch certain things. It’s not that hard.

How long til the instantpot/crockpot Thanksgiving meal videos start?

Which baldhead bitch gets the pleasure of making the Instant Pot Turkey?

I'm eagerly awaiting the video where she's planning to show us 8 different ways to prepare Stove Top stuffing. Stove Top in the air fryer, crockpot, instant pot, ninja foodie. Maybe she can fluff it in her Kitchen-Aid! 😂

Don’t forgot all those mini dash appliances!

I’m late watching Lemons videos. Just watched the costco video and I can’t stand how everything is “what I like, what I wanted”. Why does she pick up everything that she wants? I hardly ever go to the store just for myself. I think about what my family would want. She sounds so selfish I can’t hardly watch her.

Agreed. I do the grocery shopping for our family to 3 and I’m constantly thinking about what my husband and son would like. Sure I get things for myself, but I also get a lot of things for them or that our whole family likes.

I know her family is bigger so it’s probably rare to find something that everyone will like, but this pricey haul was all about Nessa

My son is the same age as bryce and would look at my like an alien if those were the types of books I bought him. He’s currently reading Artemis fowl. Hell there are TONS of chapter books based on video games. We’ve read a lot of them.

My 8 year old who is a pretty advanced reader reads all sorts of graphic novels and books with video game feels. Books are catering to sooo many types of readers these days!
Magic Tree House is coming out as graphic novels too.

Just watched the sloppy joe crockpot casserole that Vanessa made with sloppy joes and diced potatoes (which looked gross). Then did you catch her say that she usually will make tater tots to go along with it but went with only the green beans this time. Wow.

That meal was so gross. No wonder her kids need so many snacks.

Has she ever said why her kids are still on whole milk? Seems like that would be an easy and healthy switch. I know my pediatrician changes her patients to lower fat milks if they are growing well and don't need the extra fat and calorie. Just wondering if there was a reason.

We only drink whole milk in our house too. My son is the same age at the twins and then we have 2 adults.

There’s a lot of research as to why full fat dairy is better than lower ones (more satisfying, vitamin absorption, etc).
Low fat dairy has been touted for years, but more and more is coming out that it’s not the dairy that is the issue, but rather other food items.

    Correlation does not equal causation.

The energy drink habit is awful. My husband’s vice is soda, but he only gets it when it’s on a good sale and once it’s gone, that’s it.

The convenience store shopping and everything being a convenience food kills her budget. Just compare what she buys compared to 50 when they shop together. Those small easy things lemon gets add up VERY quickly.

I don’t understand making crock pot slip while you’re home. Most crockpot meals can be made on the stove super quick. I only use the crockpot when I’m gonna be out of the house. But I’m a garbage person that goes to work.

I’m so nervous about leaving a slow cooker going while I leave the house so I don’t.

I work from home (plus virtual schooling now) so I’ll do a slow cooker meal when I know it’s a busier work day for me.

My kids school is offering free breakfast and lunch to everyone regardless of income level. I refuse to take it.

    1. I feel that the kids going through the lunch line is just added opportunity for them to be exposed to the virus.

    2. All these government freebies make me feel uneasy. It made me feel weird this spring when the stimulus money was direct deposited into my account without me having to lift a finger to make it happen. I don't like the idea of being dependent on government. I won't take the free meals. I just can't.

At least for the elementary schools here, there’s no lunch line. They deliver the lunch to each kid at their table.

We’re doing virtual, and we pick up meals once a week (things are frozen and we have to cook them). My son qualifies for free lunch no matter what (cancer and Covid are a sucktacular combo) so we do use the pickup.

Guys because of my poor planning today I had to take my children with me to the store. Since they behaved and helped with the shopping, they got to pick out something extra. One picked out mini blueberry bagels, one got banana pudding cups and the other wanted a bottle of the new febreeze vanilla air freshener. My total only went up a measly $11. #WhatIsMyLife #FailingAtKeepingUpWithTheLemons #MaybeIShouldWatchTheHaulForTipsOnHowToBlowYourBudget

Right? I have one kid who is the same age as Rose and Pearl, and he hardly asks for things at the store. Last week he asked for raspberries, and this week he asked for mesquite turkey lunch meat. I can’t imagine getting him everything he picked out/asked for.

Also what is what the prepackaged easy snacks always? I usually do prepopped popcorn (local company, clean ingredients, and like $2.50 for a big bag) when I’m lazy versus 2.99 for only two Laughing Cow cups.
I get ease at times (we live rurally so there’s no running to the store last minute or if dinner didn’t turn out), but everything is ease or prepackaged.

Ok, now that I watched the apple video I feel foolish about my moment of sympathy for Lemon a few pages back! She is not even trying. Can she not make it through a single video with out using some type of premade biscuit, crescent roll, or cinnamon roll??? I'd swear she's getting paid by Pilsbury. She started out strong with the cookie recipe, but things kuh-wickly went downhill.

    The Lemon Way:

🍋Let's take an already VERY sweet treat and double the icing. Then her icing was too runny so she added a lot more powdered sugar, so it was basically tripled by the time she was done.

🍋Let's take the laziest route possible. We're already making the recipe easy by using premade cinnamon rolls, but let's change the directions so that we have less cutting and have to put even less effort into it!

🍋 Let's use caramel syrup in our recipe because it is fast and easy, and let's use 3x the amount the recipe calls for to make it uh-extra yummy! Then let's add more icing!

🍋Let's use as little apple as possible in our apple treats!

I have a major sweet tooth, but even I was grossed out by her adding any icing to that bread, let alone double! And she just poooooured it on. Gross.
