Exactly. Where is the Van Cleef collection? Grandmother's vintage Chanels and Hermes scarves? Donny Boy's Bentley with subtle rims that cost more than a college education? Hand picked engagement diamond from the Harry Winston vault? Thousands upon thousands of dollars on Elfa shelving and the Container Store and not knowing what California Closets is. She doesn't have that stuff because she thinks the height of luxury is "splurging" on an enamel Hermes bracelet or Cartier love bracelet and smugly wearing it with her Target tshirts and LLBean rain coat as if she's showing subtle wealth. Which is honestly one of my secret evil things to enjoy about her, she just doesn't get it. |
