I had been wondering how long it would take before she would have aspirations of climbing Everest. It’s an absolute shit show full of entitled rich people quite literally leaving each other for dead because they have essentially paid to take a photo at the top of Everest and climb back down.

We often ask to take home the dish my 3yo doesn't finish and no one argues or seems shocked by that. Sometimes they even ask if you want to take something home.
Wow. I have seen restaurant staff horrified at some American tourists asking for a to go box. Maybe it varies by region. |

I’ve done it in a camper van. Quite a few times. We do a combination of agritourismo, campsites and just parking in permitted public places which there are many of in Italy.

| I can totally see someone hiking alone in the alps as a legitimately enjoyable and worthwhile thing to do.
That person probably hikes or hill walks in their own country, so knows about equipment etc. Has spent a lot of time researching the best routes to take, maybe researching 3 or 4 day circular walks so they can spend time totally immersed in what they love. They have probably spent time looking up alpine flora and fauna just for fun, know about the geology, weather patterns and history of the area.
The thing with Jen is she didn’t know the Dolomites existed until a month before she booked her trip. She is basically using this landscape as a background for Instagram. It’s about her and how she looks in this beautiful landscape. She doesn’t give a shit about the culture, the environment or history. And she really doesn’t care about enriching the lives of her viewers. |

| I’m sure many of us have been on miserable work trips like this.
Up before dawn, having to scrounge up breakfast and lunch from a tiny corner shop or petrol station. On the road all day. Back to the hotel for a shower and some dinner before an early night.
Maybe that’s why we all know how to take a proper holiday/vacation. |

Is the word cardi in common use in the States? To me it’s a really British word. I have never heard an American use it ever. Is she just being pretentious again? |
