I don't remember who posted that, someone mentioned that Jen bought the swimsuits to go to Utah so that she could try and seduce Don again. A girl can dream, but I really wish that! at the same I can't imagine to go and spend some days with former husband and former family. I would be so uneasy and embarrassed

Part of me also wants them back together because I miss the old school vlogs.

But Jen gave us a performance of Taylor Swift's "We're Never Getting Back Together", so...

    Oh yeah me too!
:yellow-laughing-smiley-emoticon don't forget to move your index no-no!

Since Jen is so boring (just like in my office right now), I would like to add that I find it really hard to give up on sugar, I am trying so hard...specially with those office vending machines with all those inviting sugary treats...Nibbling carrots at the moment but what I really, really want is chocolate brownies... (having Spice Girls song in mind now...)
Don't remember when I started to cut sugar from herbal teas or coffee, but it's been a long time. I also tried the Coke Zero to get a fix but I prefer the original thing.
What I find hard is to resist the urge to eat candy bars,to me it's like a siren song...

PS maybe I managed to get the name highlighted in yellow

    Welcome, Virtual Hug! :)

I think Jen was told she is not welcome in Utah and conveniently, she now has an injury which means she can't travel. I guess we'll find out in a few weeks.

Thank you zizizouzou, love your sense of humor!

No sugar is something I’d like to try. I did South Beach a few years ago with good success. I felt good, but what really had me feeling GREAT was gluten free. Even my husband noticed how much better he was feeling. The past few months it’s been “eat what you can find at the store” which isn’t great for the waistline but at least we had food!

Thinking about trying a variation of gluten free south beach again soon. If that’s even possible? Haven’t looked at my South Beach book in ages.

Jen. You need calcium. And collagen. And hyaluronic acid. And it might be time to try some Move Free. It changed my life!!

    Edit: Welcome VirtualHug!! :animated-smileys-hug-011:

I’ll echo the headache the first 5/7 days (google Keto Flu) while your body detoxes the sugar and makes the switch to fat burning. Lots of water (but don’t be InsaneLikeJen about it). Once your body makes the switch, the energy starts. Just know that every cheat sets you back a minimum of 36 hours as your body purges the sugar again. I’m pretty sure there’s a thread here about it if you want to discuss further.

To bring it back to Jen, I am always amazed that she never tried lo carb when Don did. I know Miss I Don’t Eat Sugar would have struggled at first, but veggies and protein should have been a breeze. In Don’s endless weight yo yo he seemed to have good success with it. Perhaps the “plant based” was just another way for CompetitiveLikeJen to try to out do his weight loss in a completely different way (that he would never even attempt). Too bad for her that she never actually lost any weight from it...

I tried keto when preparing for my wedding and I shed a few kilos. Did not experience the headaches but I was more than happy to have a few restrictions because I wanted to be a beautiful bride (not particularly thin at the end, but nonetheless happy with my results). Now, after I gave birth (my son is 16 months) I struggle with post pregnancy weight and I have a hard time letting go of sugar (get cravings mid afternoon and after dinner).

Wonder if I will ever have tonedarmslikeJen... :scared-smiley-emoticon:

    Hello Wonderful Bakers!

First things first, let me tell you that I love you, you are my people. Long time lurker but faithful reader since the GG times, I am from Italy so please bear with me with my English (by the way, sometimes I grab my electronic dictionary and learn a ton of interesting new words reading here and I laugh at those brilliant Jenisms, usernames and thread titles!)... Have read every single thread, I went OhmyGod OhmyGod with Tinder Don, got passionate about the Unmentionable Troll (I was so excited I could not fall asleep that day!), been with my mouth unhinged with surprise from all the plot twists of Fate of crazy rollercoasterJen and I was hoping for her glow up to try to seduce Don back. Still hoping for it really, to see how it could unfold.

Been contemplating for months and months (like Jen) if joining or not because I felt I have nothing interesting or insightful to add to this entertaining splendiferous place but I decided to take the plunge and dive in.You are an amazing group of wonderful, talented, witty women (but let's not forget the one and only man! Hello, BackUpSize8, fellow European!) who provide me with endless wonderful, funny, in depth content, unlike our Official Untamed Content Creator Jen. While reading you, I often laugh by myself, or snort, always amazed by the brilliant insight you give. You are witty, and talented, I enjoy all the different topics you bring up, I just love you guys.
Been following Jen since the beginning of her YT Journey, and at that time I was living kind of the same privileged life (with my then wealthy boyfriend - not with him anymore -, so I thought I had a lot of similarities with her life).
Stopped watching her when she got pregnant, I could not relate anymore, I could not stand to listen to 50 minutes of neverending super detailed babbling and oversharing...I could not bear to look at it all (lots of JenGemsQuotes here, people!) and unsubscribed. Fast forward a few years, I got married and became a mom. During lockdown, I started to rewatch her Christmas Voglidays and rewatching them after years and years and years, I was so astounded to realize how effing privileged she has always been and being blissfully unaware of it, and how crazy it was from her to throw it all away. When she announced her divorce, I felt schadenfreude! I could not help but to grin in delight. Now she is just so delusional with all the bad decisions she is taking (MacMansion 2.0, Shitquoting, exposing her beautiful children to the internet, Dishgate - like, are you serious???...).

I was hoping for a real deep change, but no. She is so smug, she thinks she is always right, it is so sad to witness.

Going back to my full time job y'all

Hoping you will appreciate my Jenisms, I send you a collective virutal hug. :woot:
