Like someone else said a few pages back, Jen went from 0 to 100. Instead of taking a small camping trip near her city (which would have been a fraction of the cost), she HAD to travel, she HAD to rent a huge van. And of COURSE she had to go to Utah.
It's like she can't separate an activity from spending money. Like, if it doesn't cost money to do, it can't be worthwhile. And she thinks that spending money will automatically make it better (hello camera equipment). She still wants the status and the perceived glamour of all her money and access, hence still clinging to the Rosses because they are the only people with any status that she knows. But she will always be a pleb with no taste. All that money and access is completely lost on her.
Back in 2019, my partner and I had a lovely 10 day trip to BC, and the entire trip cost us about 1600$ (incl. airfare). I'm sure Jen blew that in her short trip. |

| Hey now... she's got a lot of work to do. She actually has to interact with her viewers on Wild U. That must be exhausting. She also has to edit all her video footage from her trip to make it look like she had a good time. Too bad she can't use all the drone footage of her creeping the Log Prison  I'm sure we'll see that video real soon.. like next month. |

| Typical narc behaviour, getting all defensive and vicious when people question their happiness, because shouldn't everyone just be happy that Jen is finally happy and free??
It's also rich that she's co-opting Tabitha Brown's words to enforce her defense. Tabitha is a black woman/mother who has found great success in an unconventional way. The amount of unprompted hatred that BIPOC get on SM on a regular basis is horrifying. Tabitha had to FIGHT for that peace, Jen. She and you are not the same!! The "mean comments" you receive are about how you should furnish your house and pay attention to your kids!! |

| I gotta say, I'm impressed that Jen actually followed through and took a trip. This may be the first trip Jen's ever taken that doesn't revolve around shopping  |

| Oh man. Young Jen is almost a completely different person. To think that in those videos, she was younger than I am now, with access to more money than I've ever had. She's so happy to talk about her stuff. Just her sitting alone in her huge, quiet kitchen. Who knows how many people she bored to death before she gleefully discovered that youtube would be a place that would actually listen to her. I wonder if she had hope for her life back then. Talking excitedly about the craft room, which we now now she packed to the brim and barely used.

Also, I have a theory that has absolutely no foundation - the Ross clan wanted to travel out to Utah on the Friday/early Saturday, but Jen passive aggressively booked a photoshoot on the Friday because that was HER day with the kids and of course she has something totally fun planned for them.. | IMO, Jen taking a break from SM could mean two things:
-she genuinely feels like posting on IG takes effort/energy
-she is deeply addicted to SM and spends HOURS oggling other people's lives, so she gets burned out and needs to take a break. |

| Grey and sad, as usual. I'm so cynical, I feel like she only wants to do a photoshoot so she can practice her photography skills. Unless she's splurging for a professional photoshoot? New branding for her channel, perhaps?
