Just saw a really cute tiktok where a mom ordered a custom made dress for her daughter, identical to her kid's barbie's dress. It was so thoughtful and fun. Jen would never.

In all honesty I can see them both lacking perspective and with the best will in the world it’s hard to consider just how lucky you are when this your whole life has been what millions of people would wish for. To them the big houses, access to food, always being warm is just normal. What kind of adults they’ll become is an absolute mystery.
However given the way Bertha Gene treats them id severely advise she starts saving for a good nursing home now. Not all children visit their parents when they’re old.

Yeah, it's true. Perspective is so important. When I was a kid (kindergarden through grade 10) I went to private schools. I thought my family was middle income because I was surrounded by diplomat kids and the like.

It wasn't until I went to a public school that I learned what ~real~ middle/low income was, and how lucky I was. Jen's kids will at least be able to afford all the fancy therapy they need to get over Jen's "nurturing".

Jen has made a spectacle of her life for nearly a decade, and throws shade when her viewers actually care about what happened?? There's a certain grace that one can have with drama.. she's certainly not obligated to share anything. But vaguebooking is the worst way to handle things. Especially when it borders on defamation.
Besides, with NarcissistlikeJen, Don setting boundaries and saying no to her would be fodder enough for her to think that he's not a nice guy.

(disclaimer that I'm sure Don wasn't as "perfect" (barf) as he appeared on camera. his YT channel is proof enough that he's your typical rich toolbag)

IMO, I think it was smart of Jen to spend all that money on a huge house. Presumably, if she ever wants to sell/downsize, she'll make all profit from selling her crypt. She's so clueless about money, at least she has ONE asset that she can't drain the life out of.

So I guess Jen's new video format is: speeding through a household task that should've been done long ago, with a morose tone, and seasonally inappropriate crocs. Then she will whisper for 15 mins about how the weather, altitude, humidity and UV levels are affecting her mood that day. The video ends with a zoom-in of Winnie's face, who's fur progressively gets more matted as time goes on.

There is also a very hilarious irony in Jen going on and on about how seasonal she is, how her moods vibe with the weather (or whatever the fuck she said) but she's wearing Christmas crocs :hearty-laugh: Surely 1% like Jen can afford spring themed crocs?? I would honestly have a smidgen more respect for her if she had seasonally themed crocs for every occasion. At least make your rampant consumerism fun!!

And she's not in a rush to fill the bookshelves with tchotkes.. as though she doesn't have boxes and boxes of them tucked away god knows where.

I'm a book nerd so you know I had to pause when I saw that she had Catch 22. Seems like that's her "adult" book shelf. There's In Cold Blood, and some Tostloy and Dostoevsky in there too. Colour me shocked that she has read anything of substance. Especially In Cold Blood, which is kind of a notorious book because killers have been known to enjoy it. (just a fact, not sure what to do with that information regarding Jen lol)

I wonder if Jen is having a bit of an identity crisis with her content. Like, when she said she would put out 2 videos a week, she was probably planning on vlogging, which is fairly easy. But she's so boring and vile that even her "easy" content got backlash. Her theme used to be organization, but for some reason she's deadset on pretending that everything is perfect, that she moved all her stuff from RM1 seamlessly, etc. She COULD do decor videos, but after nearly a year of being in that house, she clearly doesn't give a rat's ass about decor either. She could do kid/mom oriented videos, but she hates her kids (and I do think that she should show less of them on camera).

What's left for her to make videos on?? Drawing blank squares in her bujo? Sensually reading Glen Doyle?

So.. I was creeping Jen's area on googlemaps because I like to look at maps lol. It looks like there are lots of cute parks nearby. If she loves winter so much.. why isn't she taking advantage of this? She could do activities like hiking or cross country skiing. Skiing is the only reason I like winter lol. Beats staring at a screen whilst exercising if you ask me..

Oh god.. Jen making a spectacle of her kids once again by making them jump in front of her brand new shiny mirror. First the glass table now this?? I can only hope there was a handy man right behind Jen waiting for her to get out of the way so they could hang it up.

You know what makes kids happy Jen? Toys!! Crafts!! Soft colourful things!! Not a giant hazard that allows you to take suburban OOTDs!!

Well, Jen did say she would post new content early spring. Since Jen is a witch now, one can only assume that she is planning on posting her new video on the spring equinox, which is March 20th. Extended break, y'all.

In some ways, I can relate to Jen. I remember, a few years ago (2013?) she made herself a very rigid schedule because she had so many goals, and was juggling 3 YT channels (4 if you want to count Winnie's channel.. lol). I think 2013 was the year where she had her brief knitting stint too.
I've definitely been guilty of setting really high expectations for myself, because I had oodles of free time, and I knew that objectively speaking, I had the time to do all of those things. But those high expectations are unrealistic because time is not enough. Nor is money. Especially if you're a depressive/anxious person.

I've got lots of artsy friends who get caught up with buying the newest products, all the accessories and tech that successful artists use. When you focus too much of your skill development on all the different tools you can buy, you forget the most important tool: your brain.
Instant gratification is an addiction that's hard to break. And the reality about learning anything is to train your brain like a muscle. Jen never had to do that in a truly meaningful way, because she was too enamoured with the honeymoon stages of hobbies. Buying all the products, imagining all the things you could make with them, but never following through. Money was no object so she never had to confront her purchases until they managed to fill a fucking 7 bedroom mini mcmansion.

It's pretty sad that she's almost 40 and has hardly anything to show for it.
I agree with SwimmingLeggings. Jen's priority and energy should be for her kids. But ah, the narcassism.

Jen looking at her hoard: I honestly don't remember, I was crazy back then huehueheue

I truly think that Jen bought that big house just for the clout. She likes to feel/appear rich. When you go a bit below the surface, she has nothing. No taste, no hobbies, no collectibles that she cares about displaying. She doesn't actually care about the ballroom because she has no use for it. Even the rooms that she uses regularly (bedroom/washroom/workout room) (no I don't count her office because.. lol), are barren and grey. IMO, even minimalists have a bit of flair, but what do I know. My one bedroom apartment is better decorated than her crypt, AND there's still room to dance.

I'm still triggered by that god awful glass table for the kitchen, so maybe it is for the best that Jen isn't buying more furniture.

Does anyone have any theories regarding all of the shit Jen had crammed in the Utah log prison? I'm sure that with the pandemi, it's not top priority for the Ross family. I wonder if they asked her to pack up all her stuff when she visited last summer.
