I find the power exchange between Hadar and Andrea to be quite fascinating.

In Israel, he was very much in charge and dictated everything the little family would do or go to. Andrea often seemed oppressed and frustrated by his mood swings and general surliness even though she compounded her own frustrations by being so bone idle.

Once in America and suddenly everything switches in Andrea's favour and it's she who dictates to the family what they'll do and where they'll go - if they go at all, that is.

Hadar by necessity due to his job was always neatly turned out and reasonably fit. He had some colleagues to talk with and a few friends to cycle with. He had his parents not too far away and he had his secular Jewish culture to follow, now and then. He occasionally shared Shabbat with his family.

But what changes have been made! Now Hadar looks like a failed terrorist from the middle East. He looks like a Taliban reject. His body is stooped and flabby. His beard enters a room before him and is so thick, a small colony of tiny creatures could easily set up camp in there and enjoy life. His eyes are dull, his language compromised and his demeanour is flat. He seems depressed.

Andrea, who has sadly always had personality disorders and (in my opinion) Bi-polar disorder, is reigning supreme in the caravan. I find it painful sometimes to witness her slow demise into madness. She needs help but will get none and her personality it so distasteful that it's also hard to feel true sympathy for her.

She and Hadar are a toxic mix and have produced and created two odd-ball offspring with their own challenges that will surely incapacitate them for life.

In this recently uploaded video, Andrea inadvertently discloses too many secrets and highlights many problems we here at the Bakery have already detected and commented upon.

During her mania of renovation in the caravan, she's had to neglect the rest of the home. Her bedroom became a depositary for detritus and anything she didn't know what to do with but was unable to part with. She and Hadar lost the use of the room and slept on the settees, separately but together, so to speak. And, as Andrea admitted, they did at least have the TV to watch.

Suddenly, Andrea needs a small space to call her own. She's neglected herself all these years, she shares, and finally needs to address this for the sake of her mental well being. I think some of this has been gleaned erroneously by her consulting Dr Google and the Clinic of YouTube. She used a few phrases which suggest to me that she's had some self doubts but of course can't confront them properly, so deflects to the internet for ideas.

Part of Andrea's mental problems is that she may recognise the shadow of a personal problem and immediately rushes to show the world what she thinks she's dealing with. Thus, the superficial problem of a bedroom stuffed with crap and becoming unusable is what Andrea addresses and not the fundamental problem of why this happened and what to do to prevent it occurring again.

So we saw Andrea, midst a mania phase, picking through a small mountain of clothes and, faced with the problem of what to do, choosing to 'sniff and select/reject'. This was, as she explained, because her washer and dryer were too slow to deal with everything.

The three rational options - to take the lot to the laundrette - to buy a clothes dryer for the garden and dry things that way - to knuckle down and devote a couple of days to disciplined washing/drying/sorting/folding/putting away - escaped Andrea because during a mania phase it's all about now and instant gratification and constant shifting of things from A to B without strategy or rational thought.

During this time we then saw a surly, defeated Hadar who was relegated to the role only of 'husband' and not afforded his own name. Andrea was as a steam roller to his own wishes or opinions. He stood there by the wardrobe, looking lost and furious, yet now in his emasculated role he was just an unwilling but yielding person bending to her demands. I don't know why he wears such baggy shorts because they're empty, ball-less, masculinity-less and what a stark change to the days of Israel!

Eventually the latest 'station' was as complete as ever it will be and the bed made pretty with a complete set of unwashed and unclean bedding. Just the very idea of making a bed with dirty bedding is so bizarre and so telling of Andrea's mental state.

On a side note, there's something very odd about the bedroom arrangement for the children, who, we are told, choose not to spend any time there during the day but instead only sleep in these newly created 'rooms'. And we haven't been granted a view of them, either.

I'm sure all round the world, in every form of society, there are people suffering from a mental illness that isn't diagnosed professionally, let alone controlled by medical intervention and/or counselling or therapy. But it's just so sad, so depressing to know that in Florida, part of a wealthy nation, and in a town with a social services department, and in a home with relatives nearby, to see a woman act as we see Andrea act.

She's so dislikeable, too. I don't know if her mental issues contribute to that or if she's just burdened by an unpleasant personality coupled by her mental problems. I think I dislike her so much, I don't care which it is. I just care about the two children and the two animals kept by this woman.

Hadar? He's no innocent bystander and not so meek and cuckolded that he is beyond helping his kids. He's enabled this destruction and deserves no pity, just condemnation.
