Oh my goodness Jen. What a free, uncaged moon goddess you are.... for finally getting off your lazy ass during all your free time with no job to FINALLY finish your bookshelves.
We are so proud of you. Thanks for coming back from your well deserved youtube career break to bring us this thrilling content of you spewing nonsense that you probably filmed yesterday. You really are an inspiration.

All that the silent insta story did was make me extremely uncomfortable.

Jen, stop feeling sorry for yourself! She needs to realize that there's absolutely nothing wrong with being a dreamer.
Newsflash Jen, you should also be a DOER!

Is it possible that Jen really can't afford furniture at the moment? When I say 'afford' I mean, she spends all of her alimony money on absolute crap, and then when it comes to buying furniture she doesn't know how to downscale her price point when shopping so it's all thousands of $'s that she feels she doesn't have...?

Although why she can't now move some of the RM1 furniture into her house seeing as the house has sold is anybody's guess.

She mentioned in a video or instagram story, that she was waiting till she sold RM1 before she finished furnishing the new house.

Could she afford furniture if she shopped at the furniture stores/websites the rest of us 99%ers shop at? Absolutely she could.

However, this is Jen we are talking about. Im sure she plans to furnish the rest of the new house completely from Pottery Barn. So she definitely couldn't afford to do that until the sale of RM1.

Seeing this pic of the yellow doll room that YGSM posted again just reminded me of how insane her collection of American Girl crap was.

The stuff in those cabinets is just the tip of the iceberg because those are only summer outfits and accessories that are shown in that pic. You just know she has (or had depending on whether she got rid of them already) changes of clothing and accessories for every season for her dolls.

We know she got her feelings hurt when someone said that her doll collection was a bit excessive (can’t remember exactly what they said). Excessive doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of how over the top that is. :jaw-drop-smiley-emoticon:

She mentioned someone said it was creepy to her face and it stuck with her and made her cautious to share her doll collection.

Its not necessarily creepy to buy or collect the dolls...especially if you plan to pass them down to your kids. Which we all know she has no intention of doing. Charlotte is more than old enough to appreciate and play with American girl dolls. My daughter got her first American Girl doll at 4 years old.

What IS creepy is a grown woman with no kids yet, setting up a spare room to look like an actual American Girl doll store. I'm curious what her therapist thinks of that? 🤔

Any guesses on what happens with the left behind furniture (the flat brown sectional, master furniture)? I’m assuming it’s being donated or sold?

And how many car trips with basement bins will it take? 30? 50?

    Im sure she'll donate/trash
Too many painful, caged memories for her.

Wow someone seemed chipper this afternoon and actually put on makeup.
I think someone is excited that they're getting that RM1 closing check this weekend :flcvoy01:

Is that the vlog where Jen was chopping 10lb of vegetables and Suzanne thought that that was what was for dinner and Jen was an evil bitch and announced that it was only for HER?

Here it is for the few of you who haven't seen it:

The vegetable chopping and being a pernicious bitch starts around 24:00.

ETA: I'd forgotten the little convo with Poopsie about her being "plant based"...it's around the 27 minute mark.

OMG the Ross' do NOT look happy or excited about eating her damn vegetable slop ^U^

I don't understand why Jen continues to upload vlogs? She has the most boring and unappealing life. Never does anything fun or worthy of sharing even before the pandemic. Does she actually think her viewers WANT to see her mundane, redundant life or is she THAT lazy???
All snark aside, if she actually put in some effort- she could have some decent content. Hauls, DIYs, review videos... with ALL her free time, she plans NO actual content. Never asks her viewers what they genuinely would like to see from her. It takes no talent or effort to flip on a camera and show people your peloton and avocado toast. She's on that damn bike all day but her "job" gets absolutely no effort from her. This is why her proclaiming Youtube is her career makes me ragey.
True evidence for me was her shit gift guide this past Christmas. She literally walked around her house and grabbed a bunch of crap and called it a gift guide. Her past years, there was planning, she would make an actual series out of it, the videos were actually somewhat helpful. There was ZERO effort this past year. She knows those videos are her subscribers favorite videos to see from her every year. And she looked like it was a damn chore for her to make that video.

It just goes to show her "dear friends", she gives no effs about putting out quality content or true connection- she knows they'll consume her crap and she collects the monetization check.

I don't understand this Instagram story with her playing doctor.
So the kids are like "mommy lets play!" And she says "wait first let me set up a camera so our dear friends can watch me be a fun, carefree cool mom!"
    This woman is crazy :5153:

That was thee most depressing Valentine's day video I've ever seen. I cringed at her reading the poem
She literally did exactly the same shit she does everyday.

Also how many more times are her viewers going to get the SAME exact vlog??? Its always peloton, yoga, walking that dog she doesn't deserve, avocado toast and a fire!! Same thing!! What the eff is this content???

I am not a yoga person but every now and then I like to listen to a guided meditation on YouTube. I randomly selected one from Yoga with Adrienne, which I know Jen fan girls over and does ALL of her 30 day yoga challenges.

    I WAS SHOCKED!

I watched only one of Adrienne's videos and she said multiple times throughout it..."lean into", "show up today", "be gentle with yourself"...

I don't know guys. I used to think Jen's new little act was influenced solely by Glennon & Brene... but it's yoga with Adrienne! :nervous:
So thanks Jen for now ruining Yoga with Adrienne for me.

Anything you can share about your sighting of them in the wild? Was Don hotboxing his minivan? Does she mutter shitquotes?

I saw the four of them in late August of 2019- from a distance. It was in the local downtown area near where they lived. I was standing outside of a shop with my daughter and saw Jen and Charlotte walking into the Von Maur. Charlotte had her Bunsy and I thought to myself, "That kind of looked like Charlotte and Jen."
A short while later, I was walking out of another shop and saw the 4 of them walking across the street into a restaurant for dinner. Don was walking hand in hand with CC and Jen was walking behind them holding Donnie. They were walking sort of slow, and weren't really talking to each other. To me and this is purely my own perception, it didn't seem like a happy family walking into a restaurant together...it looked sort of awkward and kind of distant. Between her and Don at least. Like I said, purely my own initial first thoughts. But I mean, I at least talk or hold my man's hand when we are walking a block to a restaurant for dinner. I do remember Jen was wearing her denim cuffed jeans and birkenstocks ^U^
I remember it being shortly after their annual Utah trip. Since I followed her on Instagram, I knew they were traveling so it sort of caught me off guard to see them home. I didn't say anything to her, to me I thought it'd be creepy to stop and say hello to her while we was out with her family. However, when she announced their separation- based on the few seconds of seeing them in the wild- I wasn't surprised.

Hello Bakers! Long time lurker coming out to join the fun...

I have been watching Jen for years. I stumbled across Charlotte's nursery tour video when I was pregnant and looking for some inspiration. I was really drawn to Jen's calm demeanor, her Disney videos and how "together" and organized she seemed. As a first time mom and a stay at home mom as well, I was looking for other moms to learn from. Also, I could tell by her videos that we lived in the same area (5 min away in fact) and I found that to be really cool. I've actually seen her, Don and the kids out in public not too long before she announced their separation!

Well, I started to notice things about her that made me second guess this woman.
#1: I noticed how little she commented or interacted with her viewers in the comment section. I would often leave really nice comments and see others leaving heartfelt comments with absolutely no acknowledged or reply. That struck me as odd and disingenuous to the persona she was putting out there online.
#2: I started to notice how often she would complain and brag about how "busy" she was- but judging by her content, how much help she had, how much free time she had and how much thats afforded to her- she never really seemed to get anything done or really be doing anything! As a mom of a kid the same age as Charlotte, with nowhere near the same income or free time as her, I found myself rolling my eyes SO much more at her and her videos.
#3: I noticed how little she did with the kids. Where they live, there are SO many fun and amazing things to do with young kids! A children's museaum walking distance from RM1, a farm with animals to visit, tons of trails and mommy & me classes. I should know- I did all of these in their area and their area is VERY affluent and full of fellow stay at home moms out and about with their kids DAILY. I started thinking "why does this woman constantly go out running alone and walk the dog but never takes her kids on outings when they're not in school?" Another red flag for me as a viewer. And sort lit the thought in me like "this woman is a little lazy...and kind of selfish."

I don't remember exactly how I found the Bakery but it felt like complete reassurance! Like I wasn't crazy and I wasn't the only one who noticed how insuffarable and full of shit this woman was and is. After her and Don's separation and just seeing her change and this downward spiral of both her and her channel- I just had to join in on the snarking.
I'm sorry this introduction is so long! Been lurking for a long long time and just excited to finally be commenting!
    Can't wait for more!
