She needs a hair stylist, a clothing stylist, a dermatologist, a real therapist, a nutritionist, an in-person personal trainer, someone to teach her how to be a mother, an interior decorator, a landscape designer, a mold remediator, the people from hoarders, and a job.
On the scale of everyone, she is absolutely not fat - but she thinks she’s tiny, she alters her photos, and she shames other people for their weight. As has been said before, anything said about her weight only applies to Jen. And it wouldn’t be said at all if she herself wasn’t such an asshole about it.
D*n was first used by a patreon, we didn’t invent it, we just adapted it.
I totally agree on the Jenny thing though, I wish we hadn’t taken on that one. -

I’ve mentioned before that Christy Tomlinson of the old Planner Society has a very public IG and tends to post about every single minute of her life. She read Glennon (just like JBunion) and now her husband sleeps in the basement and she is choosing “me” with everything she does. All appearances make you think she has a doting husband that does everything for her. All of the cooking, builds her whatever she wants (construction guy), buys her gifts all of the time, does the things only she wants to do (actually sits and makes jewelry with her. I see her headed for a divorce she has been thinking about for years only for someone else to nab up her husband and she will be completely lost. The similarities in their paths are uncanny.

Never heard of her but this strikes me as a bizarre mother-daughter dynamic. She received the book from her daughter and bonded over it with her daughter? Is she another Glennonized influencer with no real friends? I’m pretty sure we don’t have to worry about CC having this seemingly co-dependent dynamic with her mother. -
.Her entire office is a juxtaposition of emptiness and clutter. Four desks all very close together in one corner and no other furniture at all. Bare walls everywhere except the cluttered-looking medal wall. The desktops bare except one very cluttered, full desk with her computer.
She has absolutely no knack for creating visual harmony.

If I had her money & knew I had no talent for decorating, I’d hire someone to help.
But she’s soooooo stubborn & just always so sure her way is the right way, she’d never listen to anyone else - even a professional decorator.
And, also, if I were her (& thank God I’m not), there’s a part of me that I know would be like “Oh, yeah, Tensleigh? You think your new house is so perfect? Well, here’s mine!”
And, even if I couldn’t look as good in a bikini as my ex-husband’s new wife does, my home would be warm & stylish - and I’d be doing my level best to make HER jealous of my single gal’s “Barbie Dream House.”
Because there’s NO WAY I’d be okay w/ my own 2 kids comparing their home w/ Daddy & his new wife to their home w/ me & my home be lacking & not as good & w/ them preferring Daddy’s home to my home.
I mean, my God, Jen, have you NO self pride?!
Oh absolutely. If that was my life I’d be focused on being the second coming of Ina and Martha at home, and I’d be doing rich divorcee travel correctly. I would be using that audience to make myself the queen of divorced mom influencers. Watch me do amazing things with all these DonDollars, look how much fun my kids have with me. Pretty Neat Living would be about LIVING, not whatever this bullshit is that she’s doing, no wondering needed. -

I have a lot of race medals too. They’re in a box. The universe has not provided me with DonDollars and a home gym, so the box it is. It would make so much more sense to put them in the gym.
But I guess someone with no legitimate need for an office wouldn’t have anything legitimate to hang in an office, so there’s that. -

If having to move all of her junk ALONE from RM1 didn't cure her of hoarding, nothing will. The participation medals are just one more thing she hoards. Her kids (if they still have a relationship with her) are going to be wading through layers deep when she dies.
The only reason she doesn't look like a Hoarders episode is because her house is almost 4000 sq ft plus double car garages and RM1 had stuff in the attic. She does keep stuff in closets and cupboards. So her house looks fairly tidy.
Plus the storage unit! -
