Her hygiene really went downhill after that.

Last night a toddler went missing in my neighborhood and was later found deceased in one of the retention ponds. I can’t help but wonder how Jen would react if it was one of her kids.

She'd milk it for sympathy and blame Don/Tens to whatever extent possible, but I think she'd also consider it one less burden. If there were a socially acceptable way to be rid of her kids, she'd do it today.

So she knows Charlotte loves performing but refuses to take her to any of the 125,315 performances she attends. What a shitty mother.

Making croissants your entire brand and personality when you're rapidly becoming obese is not a good look.

One of the things I really don't understand about how she treats her kids is - Since she clearly has major issues with how she was raised, and specifically her relationship with Jill, why doesn't she want to do better with her own kids? Why is she recreating the same cold, distant, basically nonexistent relationship with Charlotte that she has with Jill?

Her comment in the airport about how her child self would've loved it without even seeming to think about her own kids was crazy, even for Jen.

What is this man vs. bear thing she keeps talking about?

It's a thing going around the internet where women are asked whether they'd feel safer encountering a bear in the woods or a man they didn't know. The vast majority pick the bear, because statistically and in too many women's lived experience, men pose the greatest threat of violence. (Although, sadly, men they know are more likely to assault a woman than a stranger).

Jen initially, kind of flippantly, posted "bear" but then felt the need to clarify with that word salad.

She went to the garage to measure for elfa shelving and saw something (water marks on wall?) called her handyman and he checked everything and said it was fine. She will need to replace the roof soon (she said roof not shingles).

The people who flipped the house (she said flip a few times) painted the garage floor with something that is chipping off, comes in on their shoes. Handyman will try and power wash it off. And he can hang the elfa brackets when he does that.

The patio door was bowing. She thought the house was caving in but the flippers just used a cheap door. She has to replace that.

So she replaced the kitchen counter and bathroom counter, made an upstairs laundry room, replaced light fixtures. Doesn't like the bathroom tile and I can't remember what else she said. All that money and all she saw was same square footage, half the price as RM1 and a fireplace. She should have bought a newer smaller house without crappy flip finishes.

Now I question her handyman. Water marks are something. I'm not saying it was serious but the water came from somewhere and I would want to know where. Maybe unattended kids turned a hose on. :mocking_smiley_emoticon:

It makes me wonder whether that's what she did when she says she had the house checked for mold. Instead of hiring experts to do a thorough inspection, she probably just asked her "handyman" to take a look, and he said "Eh. I'm sure it's fine."

Her Disney vlogs are just every inane thought that comes to her head, spoken in baby voice. I don't know why I keep torturing myself with them.

Her idea that her intuition or "uncertain" feeling will always tell her when a man is a threat to her - and that she can just remove herself from that situation - may get her in some real trouble someday. She's incredibly naive. And so stupid.

I don't love Mother's Day. I have had fertility problems. I am still very grateful to be able to celebrate the day with my Mom. How can someone who has 2 healthy children not love Mother's Day?

Having kids is her biggest regret. She can't stand them.

I feel like that's some kind of internalized misogyny. Blaming her fat ass on her uterus rather than on the pure sugar drinks and three daily croissants.

Returning a cd says a lot about Jen's core audience.

Jen trying to talk about Taylor Swift sounded like a kid giving a book report who hasn't read the book.

"For some people, it wasn't what they expected (no explanation). But for me, it makes sense (no explanation)."

    "Shoe narrative."

    "This season of footwear."

    Why is she like this?

The nerve of her to be so self-indulgent about her "grief" for Winnie, when she caused her injury, took away her pain meds, shoved her in a dark closet, left her at every opportunity, and allowed her to suffer for months while she consulted a pet psychic. It's so gross.

My jaw actually dropped when she said (giggling) that she told her kids "Every day is a Yes Day for you."

She doesn't even try to hide her hatred and resentment for them anymore.
