My dad was diagnosed with liver cancer a few weeks ago. Last week the oncologist said there is nothing else to do, and it was pancreatic cancer that spread to the liver. My mom quit her job to take care of him last week. I brought a bunch of Thanksgiving things to their house on Sunday to drop off for Thursday, since we had to do it there, since he couldn’t leave. Then, he had a really bad fall on Monday morning and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He decided to enter a hospice facility and went in Monday night.
We have visited him every night this week. My mom brought the thanksgiving stuff back to us yesterday, since we are now having it at my house. Today, I made two pumpkin pies, my cranberries, and sweet potato casserole. I was chopping vegetables for the stuffing and my mom calls at 3 pm. She was on the way to visit my dad, and she spun out of control and smashed into a telephone pole. The entire car is totaled and was towed away. My parent’s only car and it’s a 2009, so not worth much from insurance. Luckily, when it spun, it hit on the passenger side, and she was the only one in the car. I picked her up at the accident scene, and dropped her off at hospice to visit my dad.
I come home and make my pecan pie. Then at 6, we go visit my dad in hospice. (He does not know about the wreck) We drop my mom off at home about 830. She has no job or car (I will probably give her one of ours for a while at least), so she cancels her cable bill around 9. She then texts me at 10 that she wants to go to the emergency room, because she now has pain from the accident. I take her to the ER, and thankfully she is fine. (She was getting around better than me who was in a wheelchair, so they assumed I was the patient. lol.)
I take her back home, and got home about an hour ago. I figured I’d watch some YouTube and snark to lift my spirits for an hour. I’m going to prep my turkey in a little bit and go to bed. This is while I have to do all the cooking from a chair. After three years of misery that kept getting worse and lousy doctors, I finally got an MRI a few weeks ago. All five of my lumbar discs are herniated with two of them, the first and last, that are very severe. I don’t want surgery yet, because I don’t want to abandon my dad.
Anyways, the point of my story is FUCK YOU JAMERRILL. If I can still make Thanksgiving dinner for my family, then you can. This Thanksgiving sucks, but I want to take care of my family and make things better for them. My dad loves his sweets, so I made sure to make his pumpkin pie, and we will take it tomorrow night when visiting. What would Jammerill do?
I’m so so sorry for your family’s circumstances, y'all be in my prayers. It sound so lame to say that hopefully you can take some comfort from that. Much hugs to you and yours.
Your pies sound great! With my inability to make pie crust, I’d be arrested for attempted murder!

I think they're carting water to them and have some kind of water trough that stops the ice. They have a very small pen fashioned out of electric fencing. They say they're building a lean to and will build a barn for milking later. They got a neighbour to bring a big bale of leucine and there was debate on how long it'll last. Both are dry and not in calf. They won't milk for some time.
A dry cow needs around 12 gallons of water a day
Lactating 30 to 40 gallons a day

.I’ve seen a lot of people on here mention that it is her 30th anniversary. Is it really? I was married at 24 and only have been married 24 years. (Today lol) I’m also five months older than her.
Thirty years ago would be 1993. (The year I graduated. Just realized I’m old af) Amy would have still been 17 and should have been a 1994 grad. Did she marry Greg in high school? If so, he is probably Ashlyn’s biological father then.
I kind of feel bad for Amy after today’s video. I think she bought all of those treats for Greg, but he just came to hang out with the kids and left. Why was she spending so much time with Jadyn on her anniversary? If that’s what happened, Greg is a P.O.S. She needs to just come clean about it. People would respect her more if she was honest.
Ashlyn was born in March of 1993, Shamy and Gaggory married in November, 1993, about 8 months later, so she may not have been Gaggory's child. Guess Shamy had no problems bedhopping/back seat of the car or her mother failed to tell her how babies were made.

The cast is from the ER when it happened. They were overly cautious and casted it. She went to the ortho for follow up and they took off the cast, re-Xrayed and put her in the brace. That likely means that it wasn’t nearly as bad as they thought in the ER. Once again, she is being super dramatic and filming with it on for pity points. I’m sure she’ll say it was broken and all the prayers and Jesus healed it. What a miracle 🙄

I'm confused as to the cast she has on
It's been a few years since my children became adults and stopped getting into situations where they broke bones , and I am in the UK.between them they had 4 broken wrists and the procedure was to take them to A&E , xrays and then a cast applied , split to allow for swelling , back up to hospital a day or 2 ? later for another layer to be added and then a coloured wrap on top to protect the plaster

.It is okay not to celebrate Halloween because Oct. 31 is Reformation Day. I have never actually celebrated Halloween but when my son was younger I ... I don't force my belief on anyone but you would be amazed as to how many try to force Halloween upon me. ...
Halloween is a secular holiday and celebrated by almost all citizens of the US, of almost all religious backgrounds because again it is a secular holiday. Therefore no one is forcing any sort of belief down your throat.
That is contrasted by Christmas which is a Christian holiday and has been forced down my throat my entire life. There is a large contingent of Evangelical and other fervent Christians who push their agenda quite aggressively on others and do not want to respect any other beliefs in any way at that time of year. I have no issue with anyone celebrating Christmas and have reached a point where I enjoy a limited secular version myself. However, I do not appreciate the aggressive and intolerant behavior which I do not see from any other religious group regarding holidays in the US.

She was making today's video and it was cloudy as hell and she was talking about how cold it's been. The shark tooth hunting day was bright and sunny both of them were tanner than ever and Amy's hair wasn't gray like it was in the rest of the video that was recent.
