This is all wrong, because when the pineapple goes on, the tomato sauce comes off!

Sorry, you lost me at "when the pineapple goes on". :scared-smiley-emoticon:

I would not like it either if the pineapple was stuck there in the tomato sauce! It's called "white pizza"---no red sauce! :)

Mrs. Geller I'll reshare the meme I posted a few pages back.

The spinach squares look rubbery and flavourless. No dip? It's pastry, egg, and spinach? Why not just make proper quiche?

On my phone, I read this as Papier Mâché...would likely taste the same as the spinach squares lol.

    Day-cor

I had to slap myself and say it several times out loud to get her mispronunciation out of my head.

I hate olives in general. There, I said it, when does the public stoning begin?

    But Bleu Cheese stuffed ones???

But do you use darling to describe things? Eg. That sofa is darling.

Not as common as calling someone darling but yes, people do.

Admittedly, I never heard someone call a sofa darling but a garden, a cottage, a dress, yes.

How MasterBakerLikeJen didn’t realize the issue was her forgetting to take out the sour cream with everything else was hilarious. So organized

Darling rings hollow from her because it screams thesaurus. It is not part of her normal vocabulary.

Do you think she has an assortment of adjectives on a snoopy themed post it in her ‘vlogging essentials’ pouch?

Pretty sure it’s in the NOTES app on her tween-bejeweled iPhone.

Using darling is a very British thing, my British ex boyfriend used to call me that.

Makes sense that Jen would gravitate towards it since she spent 2 months in England one summer which basically makes her British.

    Not really.

Calling people darling as a pet name is something brits do.

Describing a couch or a house as darling seems upper middle class American to me more than anything else. Like people who feel like cute is beneath them say things are darling. The mother/grandmother in The Gilmore Girls described things as darling.

Jen as Emily Gilmore (without the grooming and the wardrobe)works for me!
